What's the deal with this show? When are tickets going on sale, anyone? I am in LA, so could somebody tell me what this venue is like? Is it just like a convention type hall that is gen ad.? Also, how far is Yuma in relation to Phoenix? Also, does anyone know of any good camping in the Phoenix or Yuma area? I am going to a bunch of the shows, so I am trying to save a little bit of money by camping, instead of hotels all the time. Yes, I am aware that it will be extreemely hot, so if you know of any cool places(like with water nearby or something) let me know.

        Why is this show so illusive? I can't seem to find out anything about this venue. Has anyone ever actually been to the convention hall? Is it nice, and I assume it is in that 2000 seat auditorium?

              Yuma is closest to California than Phoenix or Tuscon. Yuma is in southwest Arizona close to the Arizona/California border.

              I hope to see all you there, I am going with a friend who writes for the OC Weekly in Orange County, CA. He is doing a story on Morrissey and Latinos.                 I want to go to the Yuma show but can't drive to it. (I have no air in my car) Can someone give me a lift from Phoenix? I'll pay for gas.

                  Morrissey to rock

                  British alternative rocker Morrissey will perform in concert at 8 p.m. at the Yuma Civic and Convention Center. Doors will open at 7 p.m. Tickets sold for the original concert date of Aug. 10 will be honored. Ticket holders wanting refunds must go to the civic center office. Flash cameras will be allowed.Admission will be $25.50 for general seating. Tickets are available at the civic center, 1440 Desert Hills Drive; Apparel by Johnny, 1338 S. 4th Ave.; and D & H Music, 1628 S. 4th Ave. Tickets can also be charged by phone by calling the civic center at 344-3800 or bought on the Web at www.ticket master.com.
