las vegas show on friday, etc... (Score:0)
I'm getting my ticket right now through ticketmaster (*sigh*). I'm flying out there with a friend, but I don't know where to stay.
I looked at the Mandalay Bay site, and it's kind of expensive ($200-$280)... anyone know any better hotels? For that price I stayed at a Westin with free massages, drinks, etc... so I'm sure there are better options.
Any suggestions appreciated through e-mail: [email removed at request of poster]

the site says they got the jam on the jukebox; that's good enough for me. the drinks are also supposedly reasonably priced, and the place isn't too far from mandalay bay.
there's no cover either, so i am pretty sure it's the best place to go...

Real people, real drinks is my fav. quote. It's about a mile and a half from HOB and on the way from HOB to Crown and Anchor, if people still want to meet there. No cover. Here's their website:

What do you think, huh? I know most people are getting on flights within the next 24 hours, just thought I'd throw this out at the last minute.

First ticket for Friday the 6th is located at Row F, Seat 3, Sec 206 - which appears to be pretty good from the seating diagram.
The second ticket for Saturday is a GA floor ticket, so you can try to get close then.
I'm asking $70 each for these. I got screwed on an ebay transaction, so I have no choice now.
Please e-mail me ASAP at [email protected] - we can arrange to get you the tickets.
Obviously, at this late stage, the best scenerio is for us to just to an exchange at the venue. unless you want to do a pay-pal / fedex transaction -
Thanks.

This drink is described as "a sweet, blood-red concoction of mysterious origin, lovingly dubbed 'Ass Juice'". They have a great selection on their juke box, the contents of which can viewed at their website at http://doubledownsaloon.com . They sound like the coolest bar in the area. Only 3 or 4 minutes from the HOB.
Here is a link for the directions from HOB:

The crowd is described as a mix of "gothic girls, white-collar Joes, transvestites, rockabilly mugs, off-duty strippers and honest-to-God celebrities. " HOB is kicking people out right after the show to start charging a 15$ cover at 11. Hope to seeya there.
