Thoughts on Hovet (Score:1)
Pretty decent sized crowd, it was definitely a wise move to move the show to the larger venue. The crowd were a little reserved between songs at times though, I thought. Only a little though.
Morrissey was carried on to the stage by the band, which I thot. was extremely funny! He called himself "Ingmar" this evening, and praised Marabou chocolate once again.
They started with "I want the one I can't have" this time. Unfortunately they played it pretty slowly so it didn't have that ZING, in fact the first few numbers lacked urgency.
I also thought the sound for the first few songs was a bit crappy - Morrissey's voice was a little lost in the mix. He went over and said something to one of the (sound?) crew after a while and the sound improved after that. I was near the front though so maybe I just had the disadvantage of bad acoustics there..
Usual banter from Moz, the crowd didn't have a lot to say though. He joked at one point that "someone at the back has fallen asleep" and "can you wake him up?"
Is it just me, or has he changed "Maudlin Street"? He seems to have shortened it quite a bit from the album version.
God, I seem to be just full of complaints!! The gig WAS great and there was a lot of singing along from the crowd which Moz seemed to like. He threw his pink shirt into the crowd after the last number, and I was lucky enough to get a bit (after the mother of all tug-o-wars!!). Then he came back on for the encore ("There is a light") in a black one which he also donated! (I think - I was too busy ripping his first shirt to be able to follow the goings on!)
All in all a great night; roll on the next tour! Let's hope it's promoting his new album..

I thought the concert hall was too big - the seated rows were too far back, but down in the crowd things were hectic as usual.
I also noticed that Maudlin Street was changed somewhat - in Copenhagen I assumed that he messed up the words because he was tired from jetlag, but since he repeated it, I guess it must be deliberate. They just don't sound right though, and he seems to 'mmm' his way through some parts of it.

And what did they get?
A 1h and 20min long show(including at least 2min of talking between each song).
I'm sorry Moz, but we're really disappointed at you. Are you getting too old touring or what?
By the way, one single extra-number is not enough to please our hunger.

Some comments about the concert. Moz was very, very talkative. Julie was there, Moz spoke to her from the stage at the beginning of the concert
He asked the audience if there were someone from Gothenbourg (a swedish city). There were some cheers and then he said, Why? Very funny. He did the "triangle thing" with his fingers when he laid down at the end of Meat Is Murder. I have no idea what that means?

No the most memorable talking concert, as you probably can see...He seemed a bit bored with the audience, not at all as the night before in Malmö, when he seemed more than amused.
He thanked us and so forth, but I'm sure I wasn't the only one feeling that he said 'I love you' a bit reluctant.
Can not be compared to KB in Malmö by any means.
Malmö was absolutely unbeatable. Stockholm was merely unbelievable and unforgettable.
