First post at last! Thanks for the scans, Benton. Usual questions, but at least there's no David Bowie!!

Who is on the cover of Esquire so I can buy it? Is it June edition?

I know this has nothing to do with the Esquire interview, but can anyone please tell me what Morrissey is singing at the end of "Daddy's Voice"? And how about the first verse? I am just wondering, because I like this song. Maybe it's not a Moz classic, but it is a good rocker, of which there is a short supply on YATQ.

Well, it's hardly amongst his best, is it? It's not exactly "The Queen Is Dead"!! I just feel there are several Moz lyrics nowadays that he tosses off in about 5 minutes, and can't really be bothered to think about. Far too much repetition here, instead of writing a new verse. And all that rhyming a word with the same word (found elsewhere). "Munich" is another one which strikes me as having been written between cups of tea.

I notice he sounds and looks rather manly in this one. Whereas he appeared totally queer in the I-D interview!

I enjoyed the interview, though. Thanks.
