He also did a short excerpt of 'The Bonnie Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond' just before Trouble Loves Me.

At one point he also asked if after the gig were we all going to a crack house, cause we looked the type. :)

  • Uh, I'm sorry! I can't remember it exactly! Just got back from the gig and it was fantastic! As far as I can tell it was exactly the same as previous shows. He did Trouble Loves Me and also did Reader Meets Author, which were both fantastic!

I got a piece of his shirt! YAY! :)

He got a piece of chewing gum stuck on his shoe during Trouble Loves Me which was a little funny!

    Aberdeen is VERY VERY COLD!!!!

This was my first Moz show in the UK, so I was a little too excited to write out the exact setlist... but there were no surprises on it. Encore was Irish Blood, English Heart. No Stop Me or Last Night... He did play Let Me Kiss You Though.

Sorry I'm not more help :/

  • I can't believe Morrissey asked the audience if anyone was headed to the local crack-house!

What type of venue was he playing at? An urban war-zone?

That is a terrible thing to say- or maybe I am missing something completely.

Why would he select a venue close to the crack-houses? That doesn't seem sane or smart at all!

In America- crack and heroin (moreso crack) are considered illegal drugs for those who are at their wits' end! The last of the last- if you know what I mean! The only thing left for a crack or heroin addict is a quick death!

Don't get me wrong, I think all illegal drugs are bad- but CRACK? The audience must have been sordid indeed.

To scared to say my own name.

  • Forget about Morrissey-

    I want DETAILS, folks- !

    What was she wearing?
    What exactly did she say?
What type of purse/handbag was she carrying?
    Who was she with?

We all know that this is the Julia website, afterall. Not too many of us can get our hands on an authentic, first-edition Wilde.

  • Excellent gig and near enough one of the best times I've seen him live. Aberdeen crowds sometimes are quite reserved in their appreciation for bands up here but this one was loving every second and it was reasonably well behaved down the front. Pit was quite small and I was expecting a rush and a push and the stage was ours but it never happened, maybe we've all grown up ;-) Crack house comment wasn't very clever even by his standards but he realised that seconds later and apologised! If he comes away with those sort of comments down Greenock way there will be trouble! Told us he was playing Stirling the next night and what did we think? Crowd shout back "Don't Go"! A Song From Under The Floorboards is a fantastic track to cover and his voice makes it better than the original, a few bemused punters around me asking which album it was on - really people :-0 Only lobbed one shirt into the crowd and had a bikini style knot tied in his first one! Seemed to keep on standing on something on the stage and some poor roadie kept on running on and mopping up the floor with a towel - look on Mozza's face at this point was hilarious. Few things thrown at him which may have been flower stems and he didn't look best impressed. Life Is A Pigsty has to been seen live to be believed, Boz playing a stand of glasses is an image that will be with me for a while! How Soon Is Now and Still Ill amazing also. Band were tight and not a note wrong all night, sound in the venue was top notch as well - shame that couldn't be said for the Sons And Daughters set.

  • I found a plectrum on the floor, it is a Tortex Italia and has "Chico" on the underside. Does anyone know who it was used by. I'm not sure if it was Sons and Daughters or one of Morrissey's guitarists. Also, did anyone else find a plectrum?

  • Overall a superb evening. However the guy who tried to Get on at the end sealed it for me! I said to my friend before the concert how easy it would be to get on the stage Via the amp albeit a touch dangerous. To be fair , I think he would landed just short of morrissey and not killed him as some will doubtless suggest. Not one weak song in my opinion. Thank you morrissey.
