  • What a brilliant show.. and very smartly kicked off with "panic".. I though the band was in great shape and Morrissey got more talkative during the show... Most of the songs rocked!!!!

He thanked me for whistling and after that i shouted that we loved him..he replied with something like "Really?? Me?? .. at which i shouted.. "yes we do... and I love you too" .. where he responded something like.. "Oh well, that's very nice of yoü"..... (if anybody can remember he's exact words i'd be delighted)....

So, i thought I already did got my Mozzer moment at that present time......
But then this guy with a 'rugsack' tried to enter the stage from the side..... He did't made it to Morrissey..but the security reacted very lame... so some other guys climbed the fences...and well..... in all the panic that was created.. i took my change at last.... :)

I was the guy with the blue jacket with Morrissey on the back.... I was one of the last ones i guess to climb the fences... one security tried to hold me..but he did not tried very well.. :)Morrissey was already on his way back... but i shouted very hard and when he saw me... he turned around and came back......

Somebody told me that only two of the invaders managed to reach his hand.. well, if the othe rone was RoB benders (see his post).. then i was the othe rlucky one..... And NOT did I only grab his hand...I pulled his hand towards me as well...and i gently kissed his hands....

    *Sigh*....
I don't know how he reacted..or looked.. i was dragged away in heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anybody has got pictures of that moment PLEASSSSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! send it to me...
    My emailadress is [email protected]
or EEKANDRIAH on the smiths/morrisey hyves..... Or just leave your adress in here...

Thank you all the invaders.. especially the guy with the rugsack... and the friends i already knew and made in the front of the stage!!!!!

    IT WAS BLISSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quite a nice gig, it was full of energy, too bad he wasn't chatty. It was just as if he'd wait for the crowd to shout (and Holland crowds are lame ppl! some more action please!)

    quite funny:
    somebody shouted: "come, Morrissey!"
    Morrissey: "but whereto?"
and them a few of them shouted: "Belgiuuuum!"
Morrissey: "hmm, Belgium, .." and then he laught extremely cute! :-)

    another one:
"this is another song from a reasonnably recent cd...Ringleader of the Tormentors"

That was all I guess, he was quite happy to see these invaders, anyway, seeing him in Netherlands was the closest ever (I live in Belgium you see...)

    Goodbye!

  • I'm so bored of those fake setlists, really. Those who send them can be at least be happy to bore me.
Last night i watched the Pinkpop performance via internet but missed a few songs in the beginning of the show. And since I'd attend the Istanbul show I was curious the see the last setlist before Istanbul.
Happily a nice person uploaded the songs and I could see what Moz really played.
Well, that's a warning. After Istanbul show, when I get back home, I'll send the setlist, sorry you liars. Keep my nickname in mind.

  • How uncanny that Morrissey performed at the most successful Pinkpop festival in recent memory. Having watched the whole thing on cable TV, I have to contend that it was a damn fine showing. Some songs didn´t quite move things forward too well but it picked up towards the end, pretty much like the Amsterdam gig.

I was not too impressed by the concert. I was really ready for it, but...it missed sparks. There didn't seem to be any passion oozing out of Moz anymore. He left with over 5 minutes playing time to go too. Does that mean he doesn't care to play the full hour?

  • Me and a friend made a banner saying "You're the one for me Mozzy" and he commented on it!! But I was in shock that he spoke to us so I couldn't say anything . He said: "For me? For me? Oh, that's very nice, very nice." I still can't believe he really said that.

A thing that really surprised me was that I didn't see ANYONE who was as young as me. I was like the youngest in the front row. Everybody around me looked so much older than me! But it made me feel quite more special and the Belgian woman next to me who helped to hold our banner was really cool :)
