Superb show (Score:0)
He said Wolf Trap shouldn't be called Wolf Trap. He offered Bush Trap as a good alternative.
He said that the meat on David Letterman was an unwelcome surprise. He said something like "Letterman's ribs...not his actual ribs, sadly."
No real stage invasions, though it looked so easy (the stage was so low, and people in the pit were just pushing up to it). One guy did get on, and he got viciously treated. Security grabbed him, slammed him into the stage, choked him and yelled at him, and then dragged him away.
All in all, great show. Moz is back.
Other observations (Score:0)
He spoke to the crowd between every song....has he ever done that before?
Only one shirt left the stage...but he wore three(cheat)
He started sounding a bit gravely during "Kiss" and into "Girlfriend" but rebounded quite nicely.
I saw the Smiths three times and I have seen Morrissey countless times and I am devoutly a "Smiths first" fan but, THIS is the best band he has EVER played with....sorry I won't hear your argument.
I wasn't really looking forward to hearing either but "How Soon Is Now" & "Please, Please, Please" were other-worldly!
As a long time fan and a singer myself, I'd be worried about him finishing this tour. I have tix for tomorrow night and I'm really not sure. Don't misread, he was truly awesome tonight and a five star trooper for pulling it together but, I heard things....and the number of apologies....I just wouldn't take tonights success as a dead cert for the remainder.

He was wonderful. I adore him. (Score:1)
The crowd, while polite, exuded so much love for him that at one point he actually said, "Wow." He received many gifts, including one from me. He mouthed the words "Thank you, thank you" to us and he seemed to have emotional eyes like he was touched.
He held my hand at one point. I thought I'd die. Twenty years of adoration finally paid off. His grip is so firm, like he MEANS it. I'll never get over it. I love this man.
He talked to us a lot. His tone was conversational. He seemed to feel really comfortable with this crowd.
His voice sounded surprisingly good. It wasn't 100%, but it was still beautiful. He didn't have that Kermit the Frog voice that I've heard him get in the past when he's been recovering from a respiratory infection. His voice was mostly smooth with only a hint of rasp on a couple of songs.
I met Kristeen after her set. She was very nice. She signed an autograph for my daughter.
I'm a bit too overwhelmed to say more at this point. I must sleep. This has been one of the best nights of my life. Oh... Morrissey. He means so much to me. *sigh*

This is my second Moz show, though I've been a fan for more than 13 years...the last one was DAR Constitution Hall. Terrible venue, Nasty 'security' guards screaming at us to leave the second he left the stage, and an unenthusiastic crowd.
This show was INCREDIBLE! Did anyone see me with the tears streaming down my face during 'Everyday is Like Sunday' and dancing like a madwoman during 'How Soon is Now'? thanks to Morrissey for playing more venues on the east coast, here's hoping he doesn't listen to the selfish other fans who claim he should only play their cities and not others, we're all fans who deserve to see him live in as many cities as he can possibly visit
correct me if i'm wrong but Baltimore was one of the only venues to sell out, didn't hear that about "sweet" Nashville and other cities spreading their own brand of city superiority, i had tix for Baltimore and will patiently stretch out and wait for a possible date in the fall or whenever, it'll be worth it
even though Wolf Trap should change their name, at least the acoustics were superb for an outdoor open venue, it was great to have a seat to enjoy the show from, even though during Morrissey's set most of us were standing
Morrissey was in great form, talkative, witty as usual, the songs were incredible - especially the new album, which i own, but haven't listened to enough of, the songs i had heard were much better live than in studio, and the Smiths and former Morrissey solo classics were, as always, excellent
Wolf Trap was a great intro to what followed next week at the Norva, going to type my review there in a few...
