Danced with a little boy (Score:1)
Morrissey danced with an 11-year-old boy onstage during the end of I Like You. The boy was pulled from atop someone's shoulders. Morrissey had given him the mic earlier and he said his name was Morrissey.
This was the only show I saw from the Fillmore sets and preferred the intimate Santa Rosa show in Spring but a good show.
Sold out.
Only one encore. Stop Me. Don't remember the set. I'll let others chime in.

Very strong set with many changes, I will allow an expert to list them. Great enthusiasm and from where I am standing lots of love and energy for Moz, not sure where other posters have been in the crowd. 2 shirts thrown out, mayhem of course, very kind and sweet to the young lad (looked about 6 years old) named "Morrissey," but we were saddened by only one encore~Stop Me... Perhaps he's saving his energy for all of the shows ahead. Have a wonderful time at these performances, I believe he will not disappoint.

people throw things at him, seemingly random objects, one hit him while he was singing. Rather rude. Do us a favor, offer him things don't throw!

I’m not sure why last night’s show seemed slightly, only slightly better than tonight’s, considering how many more people attended the latter, but it was. Yet I’m fairly sure it is impossible to be disappointed by a Morrissey show (unless of course, he doesn’t show). I had a good time as did most of the people around me. I experienced a moment of schadenfreude when a girl, who couldn’t take the suffocation in the pit was escorted out by a male friend and I was able to inch a row closer to the stage. I felt no compunction at taking advantage of the opportunity given how rudely they weaseled their way to that position from the back in the first place after we had been waiting in the front for an hour before the start of the show. One can’t blame the die-hards from being territorial. The guy next to me had a great voice. He trilled and I squawked. Eventually, I stopped emitting my noise and bobbed with the crowd. The little boy who glibly gestured with his arm with Morrissey onstage may indeed be the next Morrissey. "Girlfriend In A Coma" was a nice addition. Fans seemed more irate with each other tonight than last night. There were as many as eight people clawing at each other for the Mozzfather’s sweat-laden shirt as though it were a holy vestment, disrupting a song for the people around them. For fuck’s sake! What does one do with another man’s perspiration-soaked threads? I guess one could replace some of the buttons and wear it. I’m assuming they’ll wash it first, but maybe some people would really like to get that close to the man. A short girl in the front engaged in a brief, but ferocious altercation with a taller girl next to me feeling the taller girl had deliberately shoved her. Boy was she tough! “Don’t let ‘em grind you down!” I was holding out for "Still Ill", but no such luck. Morrissey responded with the fitting answer, “I haven’t left,” to a question that we all wanted to know (asked by an audience member): Will He return?

Moz came out resplendent in black shirt (I think) and those bright blue trousers from Vegas. I forget what th'Lads were wearing, but it was all matching. I think it was those beige outfits with matching vests. Moz changed into a robins-egg blue shirt that went ill with the royal blue trousers. I think he wore a dress shirt for the encore. Can't really remember! I blame the pot (which was smoked outdoors in front of the venue hours before doors opened!)...and my old age.

Mozzer's voice was gorgeous, especially during Dear God.

      21. HUMAN B / STOOP ME

They did NOT play Human Being : (. Maybe they saw how listless the crowd was and decided we didn't deserve it. I enjoy seeing Boz blast it out on the sax, but SF did seem pretty dead, so I don't blame them for dropping Human Being from the encore. There was one stage invasion ATTEMPT in the middle of the set, but it wasn't on.

Nonetheless, midway through, Moz thanked the "fancy people" of the Fillmore for putting up with his voice for 4 days. He also thanked those who attended all 4 nights, calling us brave. He added that he had our addresses, that he would turn up at our homes and embarrass us in front of our parents...if we weren't already embarrassed! ; )

Yesterday's setlist was preferred by at least two irregular regulars. Wednesday was truly our night. But still, tonight was a very enjoyable show.

Before Grow Hup, a little boy (aged 7) on the Mikey Farrell side of the stage gave Moz a handdrawn portrait of Moz singing on stage. Moz displayed it on the drum kit.

During I Like Yuh, I got a handsqueeze from El Mozzer. Cute little boy was helped up onstage, too. He appeared clueless and awkward, but he was so cute and little, he could get away with it. Occasionally he punched the air, but mostly he looked confused. I saw his dad coaching him outside the venue. I'm torn between thinking it's kind of loathsome to see yet another parent pimping their offspring for Mozzer's attention and excusing it because it's so cute. The little girl in Bakersfield was a much better stage partner to Moz; she knew how to turn gracefully under Mozzer's arm and follow his lead. Well, at least the crowd was so tame that there was very little danger of the child being harmed...then again, there were occasional incidents of aggression in the crowd.

During Stretch Out and Wait, Mozzer usually changes the lyrics following "Is there any point in having children?" Sometimes he sings, "For me, no." Tonight he sang, "Don't be silly!"

Hmmm...I wonder how Santa Barbara will be. I worried that Wednesday would be kind of dull because it's hump day, but it turned out to be brilliant! SB is in danger of being poorly attended. Last time he played the SB Bowl, it was one of the most mellow shows that year (2002). Maybe SB will be a dark horse, too.

I know I said the same thing about wednesday's show, but this was the strongest set of his 4 night residency...

"Pigsty," "The Boy With The Thorn...," "Please, Please, Please," and "Good Looking Man About Town" were out, "Dear God, Please Help Me," "At Last I Am Born," "I Will See You in Far Off Places," "London,"and "Girlfriend in a Coma" were in.
Happily, "The Loop" and "Sister, I'm a Poet," and "Irish Blood...."survived from Wednesday's set also .

"Dear God...." was beautiful, then rolled right into "How Soon is Now?"

      The band sounded awesome throughout.

Boz looked particulary amused when a tussle erupted after Moz flung his sweat-drenched shirt into the crowd after "Let Me Kiss You." He casually strolled to center stage to watch the match.

Spoke to the band after the show, and they seemed to feel tonight was the strongest.

At the Fillmore you can pick your spot as long as you arrive on time. After seeing Moz at some large venues in the past it's amazing to see him in a place the size of the Fillmore. I feel that GA venues such as this one allowed for a higher energy level than previous shows on this tour in N. California. I'm assuming there will be video of this show ending up on youtube. If not, I will look through my video and see if I find anything decent.

As I said a year ago, I fully expect Morrissey to break out of the MOR rock aesthetic he slipped into for 4 or 5 songs on ROTT.

For now, I am content to revel in the greatness of his back-catalog and dream of seeing him live somewhere in Britain in the not-too-distant future.

It's a great set-list: I've always wanted to see him play 'Playboys' live (and 'I Know It's Over').

Morrissey presently stands on the cusp of being the only pop artist of any standing to retain his artistic standards, credibility and relevance across 3 decades. Can he do it? Let's hope so.

The one thing that sets Morrissey apart is that, like Radiohead, he is more than capable of completely reinventing himself for his next project.

We need less 'On The Streets'/'Work of Art' and more 'Dear God'/'Teachers Are AFraid.'

I've always wondered how astonishing Morrissey's voice and words would sound with a heavier, glammy sound. Think 'The Bends,' only filtered through Brian Eno's mixing desk and Morrissey's mind. That would be quite something. He needs to lose the delicacy and do something brash, disturbed and disturbing.

I ordered the "featured" 10 pack of tickets discussed on true-to-you.net, but I cannot attend all nights (due to work, etc.). This ticket will allow you to go into the venue FIRST, even though it is a GA concert (they are a special edition printing only for people who ordered the 10 pack--a cool souvenir of the concert). I'm not trying to make $$ on these tickets...I'm just trying to re-coup my costs ($50 for each show).

I live in the Inland Empire, so since it is short notice you can drive and come pick them up or I can try and overnight them to you (at an additional charge). E-mail me at temperatesummer@yahoo.com if you are interested.

I want to give a personal Thanks to "NICK" for being such a great guy and kind enough to let me use his Jacket so I didn't freeze to death while I waited outside for 4 hours to see " The Man himslf" My son was so excited and please to see that most Morrissey fans are kind and outgoing people and I'm sure that inside he loved the attention you wonderful people gave him! All he did was talk about the possibility of getting on stage again with his name sake. It seemed as if I answered a hundred questions by the time we got there from San Jose and boy it was worth it. My son is 5 yrs old for those who care and enjoyed him that wonderful day and that experience with me history. I'm sure he will never forget that 45 seconds of fame, but most of all to be on stage with a man who is right under God himself ! Thanks Morrissey for your kindness and sharing the stage with my son.. You will always be our HERO and we will always LOVE YOU !! God Bless to all and VIVA MORRISSEY!!!!

It's about 8.5 minutes long, but the sound is blown out, as usual.

Security was right in front of us, so I only managed to get HSIN almost to the end, until I was told to stop shooting.

I also tried filming some of his banter between songs, but I did a crap job of it, always turning on my camera too late. Did manage to get most of Little Morrissey dancing with Big Morrissey, though.

As is the case with these video websites, the quality is poor due to compression. However, this Veoh.com site gives people the chance to download the original .avi file without compression, which is much better.

This isn't an advert, but if you wish to download the clip, sign up with Veoh.com (it's free), download their Veoh Player, then you can start downloading any video you want. It's a pretty big file, though, so it will take quite a while to capture the whole thing.
