Great show! Moz was asked whether he had a record deal yet to which he responded, "No, but we have one offer." Then he asked if anyone in the audience would like to sign him.

does anybody know the deal with the 10 day package deal tix that we coudnt use today from previous cancelled dates from oct.2 and 4? For some reason they were not honored.

Incredible show! I was about 4 rows back in the middle! Every Song was amazing, Love the new ones too! Had seen on previous set lists Stretch out and Wait, and really wanted that one, but Shoplifters (in it's place) was great! Only a few jerks pushing at the end ( Tall with bad hair and a short guy in a tank top trying to look tough)

Wow! This was the best show I have seen since the Hollywood Bowl and let me tell you I have been places ya'know. I am so glad that he was in good spirits. I apologize for shoving my camera up in the air and blocking the view. Morrissey is such a tease. He pretends to want to shake your hand and pulls away like a scared little boy. I would love to know what I can do to at least take one good picture with him. Morrissey...I love the white shirt! And your body looks great...are you working out???? See you on Fri and Sat.

Did anyone Boz's classic moment during Life is a Pigsty? He was playing his water glasses (as usual) when he picked up one of the glasses, drank the water, put the empty glass back in its place, and continued to play it as if it were full. I don't know Boz, nor have I ever met him, but that just seems so Boz-like. Did anyone else notice?

what a great setlist. Here's hoping he keeps "Youre Gonna Need Someone On Your Side" for the NYC shows since he dropped it by the time he got out to the East Coast on the last leg.

Moz once again delivered an awesome show. And lucky for us, he really is here all week this time. Tonight I was 3rd row deep Farrell-side.

I don’t know how it’s possible but I think he looks and sounds better and better each night. He definitely had a sparkle in his eye tonight – even looked devilishly boyish. Lots of crowd interaction, took most everyone’s gifts. (Too bad Manga girl wasn’t there). Just one shirt thrown after HSIN. I’ve (happily) noticed he’s been hanging around shirtless for a bit on stage instead of the toss & run he used to do.

I’m not very good at remembering quotes so I’m just going to attempt to get them all out there before they vanish, it’s like trying to recall a dream the next day. I’m sure I’ll mis-quote here and there so, please bear with me.

Introduced “Ganglord” as a song about (or called?) “the lighter side of death.”

He did talk about only have one record offer so far but that he would like to have a second. Then asked if any of us would like to make him an offer. Hmmm, let me think … ;)

“Whenever I “stick” a shirt on, all I want to do is toss it away … which is the same reaction I have when holding a small child.” Interesting … funny though.

My favorite quip of the night was when he said, “All of my life I have felt obligated to imagine the worst … and I haven’t let myself down yet.” Sadly, that pretty much sums up my outlook on life. You can’t be disappointed if you set your expectations nice n’ low.

Speaking of Disappointed, not in the setlist tonight. But Lucky Lisp was! (introduced as a Japanese song called “rucky risp”). Shoplifters was back in (love). Dear God was swapped out for Pigsty.

Pigsty is just epic. I really love that song and it’s truly magical live. It transitions into HSIN perfectly, with Mikey playing “Auld Lang Syne” as a bridge between the two. Amazing.

Lastly, when he introduced the band tonight, he started to introduce Boz as a legend, but referred to himself instead. Of course he followed it up with an emphatic “I’m kidding.”

He needn’t kid … it is the truth.

What a setlist!, i couldn't never have imagined such a setlist, i guess he's now more inclined to play different songs and pick up from his old catalogue as he probably no longer needs to "promote" ringleader. I may be wrong but he seems to change his setlist almost every night for his residency shows at the palladium.

I am still in awe of giving him the James Dean picture. As soon as he came out on stage he was looking at it. I had on it, "All the world is a stage. All the men and women are merely actors." After Lucky Lisp (I think) he asked me if that was for him, and I handed it off to him.

Later in the show, he said, "My friend said 'All the world is a stage, All the men and women are..."
Then he passed me the mic. I finished the quote, and was in such shock I have no idea what he said afterwards. I think I broke the mic though. Such an absolutely amazing night.

Anyone have extra tix to the show? If you cannot attend I would like to trade with you for 2 tix in NYC at the Hammerstein on Oct 23. Let me know!

I am beginning to get Kristeen more and more. I love her outfit with the bunch of grapes hanging from her heart and her green belt. I am actually starting to really listen to her and how expressive she is. She isn't your standard catchy "pop" star and not for everybody. Her hair looked cool and I think she is adorable. She reminds me of the Jenny character played by Mia Krishner in the "L" Word.

Weak setlist (as compared to other shows, only 3 smiths songs). Weak crowd tonight.

Asked 3 different guys to help me up onto the stage, they all said no... WTF?!?!

Finally was lifted by a friend during How Soon Is Now, landed 2 rows up only to be cussed out by some Hector. Ignored him. Lifted again, passed the barriers. Struggeled with 2, then 3 then 4 security gaurds... finally escorted out side where they took my poloaroid (which I smiled gleefully for). Security asked for my ticket, not wanting to give up the ticket, I told them that my girlfriend had it. Then they demanded for my ID, which I handed over. As they took down my info, I asked if it was going down on my "Perminant Record". Missed the encore, but well worth the attempt to get on stage.

how full was it compared to the other nights?

I bought a ticket for Tue but they need to be picked up at will call since ticketmaster won't mail them. I was at the show last night and the security set up a seperate line for will call. Anybody know if will call has to wait until the regular general admission line is completley let in before will call can go in?

Brought a friend (or 2) with unused 10 pac tickets from canceled shows from last week...
Then the surprise at the door..
Tuesday and Thursday tix that were part of the 10 pac were not being honored..
Exactly opposite of the earlier info..
they wanted us to buy another tix and wait for a refund from the 2 canceled shows.
I'm lucky I could peel off the green and buy a couple more tix..
But, I'm sure people arrived thinking they had a good ticket only to not be ready to part with another $55 (cash only) at the Box Office.

Anyone seen any banners or posters being displayed to Moz by the crowd so far at any of the shows this round? If so, what did they say?

I have NEVER dealt with such a hostile crowd like the idiots and inconsiderate assholes around us! I mean we got there with time to get our drinks and walk to right side almost ctr of the stage about 10 rows of people back. We stood there with other girls around us and a few couples. KY performed (ehhh for the 4th time this tour), then the crowd pushes forward when the guys come out and start singning and dancing. THEN the idiots behind start pushing on us girls especially this tall, fat, neck tatooed, overplucked eyebrow asshole. Doing this with a grin like it was funny, I finally yelled there's girls up here asshole! He backed off and ended to the rt of us. Then the usuall, "My friend is in the front, we're just trying to get to them". Yeah right!! We wouldn't budge, the guy went and pushed his girl through and he ended up with us. Next were the girls walking from one side to the other in front of me, one stepped on my foot and said nothing. I yelled' "Hey at least say excuse me". Next, I lost it when this other teletubby behind pushed me hard. Me with my purse and camera in hand swung around and shuved him so fucken hard he stumbled into the crowd and never came back! My friend could not believe me a girl pushed a guy off! Of course then there were the drunken two girls who wreaked off wead, who over and over pushed around all of us. I finally grabbed the curly pubic haired bitch with the blue top and pulled her hair twice to get her off of my friend. Here horse toothed friend deserved a punch in the face also. Then the tall white guy with the greasy stringy hair, kept pushing and leaning on me. I elbowed him and told him to back off and go ride someone elses ass, he left. All these people are the ones that give us latinos a bad name. I felt we should've had a good time without the shuving. Get there early enough, or pay to have those other tix to be in the front. And leave us people who are there for the experience to see one of our favorite artists perform. Well enough of my bitching, I loved the setlist, snuck my camera in. Recorded entire songs and took great pix (I think, haven't checked yet). I'll sign in later and try to post them after work. Sorry to those in front of us, tried not to push onto you guys. This will definetly be my last show, I rather sit like an old lady and enjoy the show that way. Morrissey and the guys, you were great.

Standard night, as expected on a Monday. Lucky Lisp was a welcome inclusion. Moz was very chatty last night.

For the most part, people gave "The Bjork Identity" room to swing. Very nice.

Setlist, overall, could have been better. Not as many Smiths songs. Hope it won't be a bummer tonight.

Some asshole kept farting. I took my earplugs and put them up my nostrils. I really wanted to shove them up the guy's ASS but I plan on still using them. The smell of "wax" is slightly less nauseating than some stranger's sphincter. Everybody loves their own "brand".

What I dig about Moz's character is that amidst the designer shirts and Evian spritz, he remains thankful for those who come out. Especially those with the "dime". It comes across on stage and i'm looking forward to tonight.

Attack them! Now! Here's what we need, a frontline of grunts to overwhelm them, particularly the crazy latinos, then a second phase of fatass' to re-emphasize the attack and further push forward. Then, the rest follow and by the shear numbers, will put the nail in the coffin. Result: Mass Chaos, press coverage, Morrissey's exit, then the band, and really, nothing significant, and 1 tiny, but big win for the ever fucked over fan/consumer. It would be nice.

Lit a Voz Sagrada de Morrissey candle at midnight in the queue. The gusty winds blew it out around 3 am, but the show still went on!

Moz seemed a little uncertain, but as the audience showed their warmth, he couldn't help but reciprocate.

Earlier in the day as I was walking back and forth between the queue and my car, I heard some of the soundcheck. They played (wiff Moz actually doing the vocals) Paris, One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell, (I think it was) All You Need Is Me, and GOOD LOOKING MAN ABOUT TOWN several times!!! I was so excited because surely they would play it tonight if they rehearsed the hell out of it. So much for his promise in SF to never play it again! Alas, he kept his promise despite the song being on the setlist as the first encore with FirstUv as the second encore.

Sound was GREAT, and Mozzer's voice was beautiful. I still can't get over how rich and heart-melting his mature voice is now. I don't know how I manged to fall in love wiff that comparatively monotone, thin voice he had in duh Smiffs. Oh, yes, it was the lyrics. Okay.

Crowd was unexpectedly rowdy and pushy...but that may have been a function of my position. Was closer to the centre instead of off to the sides.

Somehow, I think the barrier was pushed back even further from the stage. Others concurred. I had difficulty touching Mozzer's hand. He grasped only my distal phalanges and then made this weird flicking gesture afterwards. My ribs still hurt from Tijuana, but I still made the effort to stretch (out and wait).

Another film crew (LATV), in addition to Patrick and Bucky, are shooting a documentary. They wasted their time interviewing the regular ticket holders, but they did manage to get in one interview with the first two people (with the 10 day package) who camped out since before 20.00 on Sunday for Monday's show. I was very annoyed with the doc. people and some other meeja guy shooting in the moat. Besides blocking my view and perhaps being responsible for the widening moat, they block Mozzer's interaction with the audience. He mugs too self-consciously for the cameras and looks at the cameras instead of the audience. Regular meeja is kicked out after the first two songs, but the doc. people stayed the whole time.

My impression of the LATV crew is that their final product will be trite and superficial. Oh look, Moz has a lot of Latino fans. Gee, what an unusual angle. They asked hackneyed questions and were not sensitive to the desperation that occurs right around the time of doors opening. They were clueless about so many things. Grrrr...those access passes are wasted on them!

I brought a friend to the show, and I tried to imagine how it was to see Moz from his perspective. I don't think he's seen Moz that close-up in the past 7 years. With new eyes I appraised El Morrissey. Hair still gorgeous. Barrel-chested but hunky and still absolutely frinky. The moves made duh Man! But maybe the face showed the passing years. He's got some Samsonite touristers under the eyes, some weathered lines (I like to call them laughter lines) and there's a red spot on his right cheek. Is it a shaving accident, a zit, or ??? To me, the so-called blemishes made the dream real and even more treasureable. His brilliant blue eyes are unearthly gems. He puts me down every time I compliment him on his looks, but he is the most beautiful person in my eyes.

Klaus Nomi was the intro music. I was distracted, so I can't remember if it was Wayward Sisters or not. It probably was. Moz was wearing an interesting white shirt with some kind of quad patterned embroidery that reminded me of eyelet. Very nice! He also wore black trousers. I believe after Human "Bean", he changed into a black shirt and made that comment about sticking shirts on, wanting to toss them away and the same with children. Th'Lads were in those bright blue trousers, black shirts (I think) and various tastefully colorful ties that contrasted with the black shirts. My fave was Mikey's tie. I think those blue trousers don't look so bad

Aaaaahhh you guys got Lucky Lisp! You're sooo lucky! Here's to hoping he plays it Saturday!

Was on the set list. He had arranged to play that in the encore right before First of the Gang to Die, but he wound up only playing the latter. I have no idea why he made the change, but I'm sure he will play it at one of these last Palladium shows.

Also, up front, there was two different (or maybe even 3) people filming, so I am sure that stuff will pop up somewhere.

Only 1 shirt was thrown, which my friend caught the entire thing.

Too bad no one posted pictures of the band members. They wore black shirts and blue pants each with a different color pastel tie. Boz was wearing baby blue, the bassist was wearing pink, I think the drummer was wearing green or pink (not sure), Jesse was wearing yellow, Mikey (keyboardist) was wearing pink. I thought Monday night's outfits were the best. Halfway through the set, the bassist removed his tie completely and his shirt echoed Morrissey's black shirt with open collar. I was on the way left on Boz's side this time (last time I was way right) and both Boz and Morrissey did hover over us pretty close so I had a very intimate view. Oh, and I had eye contact sometimes longer than necessary from Boz, Morrissey, Mikey, and even Kristeen several times during the concert which I thought was very...intimate. I think I was probably one of the few people being openly supportive of her and I felt our souls connected just by her glancing at me and even recognizing me as a familiar face. Too bad I didn't buy the ticket in time for Tuesday's show but I really have to focus on...other stuff...but if someone wants to offer me a ticket, I won't say no to Saturday night.

I heard that the palladium people weren't allowing markers & scissors & such into the venue,-totally understandable, it's an old building and it could be vandalized- but what about matches & cigs? I don't plan on smoking inside but I'd just like to know if I'm going to have to leave my shit in the car..also..I've been reading some bad stuff on the threads in regards to the social atmosphere and the general ambience..Is it really that bad? I'm kinda scared to go now. Some of y'all have really burst my Moz bubble with your observations...
