Just got back from the gig - a very good one as usual with no special surprises in the setlist.
Morrissey was friendly and said a few words in Hebrew; however, he "runied" 'irish blood' with a
wrong timing when joining the band and during 'life is a pigsty' his voice was not totally OK and he himself pointed towards his throat when it happened.
My highlights: Stop me, please please please, boy happy, The Loop & There is a light.

Encore: There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
The intro was Imperfect List and the outro was That's Life. The crowd was warm and loud and Moz seemed to appreciate it and enjoy the concert, even though his voice wasn't in a very good shape (he started Irish Blood terribly off-tune and couldn't reach the high notes in Life Is A Pigsty). He made a remark regarding Siouxsie's cancellation along the lines of "Our friend Siouxsie was supposed to be with us here tonight. But she isn't. I don't know why. She doesn't know why." After introducing the band (as "the conqusitadores") he proceeded to sing a-cappella the first two lines of Seasick, Yet Still Docked, and ended it with "yet I'm here". When he came back from the encore he picked a big sign from someone in the crowd saying "you are our light that never goes out", showed it to the crowd, and proceeded to play There Is A Light. Some lyrical changes that were new to me: All You Need Is Me ended with "you're gonna miss me when I'm dead". Please Please Please ended with "Lord knows it's impossible". Going out from the concert I spotted a truck of Israeli radio station Galatz, so the show was probably taped. No idea if it was broadcasted live or if and when it's supposed to be broadcasted. That's all. Going to sleep.

Amazing show and I finaly met the man! (Score:1)
He spoke a lot in between songs and gave us some words in Hebrew as well.
The best surprises of the night were Everyday is like Sunday and there is a light, I have filmed both and will upload to youtube shortly.
Oh and before the show I was one of the 10 lucky fans to meet the man, it was so surreal!

best songs were (from my point of view) life is a pigsty (love this song!). during the song, morrissey almost lost his voice and at the end he just lay down on the floor for some time
also liked how soon is now with some great drum work at the end of the song.

Well, I saw him at Leeds Festival (2004), at Efes Pilsen Festival (istanbul 2006) and yesterday in Tel-Aviv..hmm, I wonder if i'll get to see him in 2010 too;)
The gig was amazing. The setlist was brilliant, even better than the previous shows of Moz I've been to.
It was so amazing, seeing Moz from the front row, about 1.5-2 meters from you.. unbelievable (Though I saw him from the front row in Istanbul too, and the distance there was short too..but not as last night).
Luckily I avoided seeing the playlists of the last shows, so there were a lot of surprises for me
The pleasant surprise - "Sister, I'm a Poet" - one of my favorites!
truly awesome.
The outstanding performance - "How soon Is Now?" - total hysteria in the crowd, lots were crying, and the performance of Moz and the band was absolutely wicked. I could hear the improvement from the last years in performing this song..Boz's sound is getting closer and closer to Marr:guitar:
The Highlight Of The Evening - The Encore: Picking the sign from the crowd that said "You are the light that never goes out", the excitement of Morrissey from this gesture and the performance of the song -slower than the original, but what a performance! this is the definition of ENCORE
What can I say? i'll quote the fan who took Moz's mic at the midst of the show and shouted: "Thank you for coming, we love you!!!". Kitchy, but true.
P.S: Someone wrote in the forum that he'll probably do "Ask" which it's line ("if there's no love then it's the bomb...") is truly relevant for us now..
Well, he did that!and even changed the lyrics a bit ("if there's no love, than it's the NUCLEAR bomb that will bring us together")
