Still, honestly, after seeing the Jimmy Kimmel appearance and Morrissey's illness that followed, I wasn't sure what I would be seeing. In fact, he had trouble with the high notes last time he was here with "Last of the Famous."
But, indeed, he was very strong, voice couldn't have been better, and I've seen him now 3 times. He could go on another 50 years the way he sounded last night!
And, this time, he definitely knew he was in Kansas City (some fun confusion last time). He kicked off "First of the Gang to Die," with "Kansas City--You're Too Hot," which he probably changes every night from "Los Angeles," but I missed that if he did it a couple years ago.
If you are on the fence, if you've seen him 20 times, hop off the fence and go.

When Moz threw his second shirt, my friend was trampled down onto the ground and had people stomping on her as they rushed to get the shirt. When a nearby guy tried to get everyone's attention, to clear the way, a few strangers actually looked down and pointed and LAUGHED at my friend, as she lay there unconscious. I would say around ten people casually glanced down to see her there but walked over her (and on her hands) any way. My friend eventually stood up and claimed she was fine, but then fainted.
After spending 20 minutes with the EMT, it was declared she was okay, minus bumps and scratches.
But that still does not make this incident okay.
I am ashamed to call several of those people who were standing up front at the show fellow Morrissey fans. Their behavior was embarrassing and cruel.

We can presume it wont be changed before Oakland on the 18th.
Then Ireland, then the UK. Look, he doesn't HAVE to make changes, because he doesn't HAVE to do anything, but if he doesn't this is going to go down as a dull tour. Any fireworks so far, in terms of stories and cherished memories?
No.
The thing is, he only needs to change it by two songs per week. Morrissey fans have been conditioned to being ridiculously easily pleased. Just stick in Disappointed or What She Said and we'd be chirping about it for weeks, here. But it stays the same.
It's good, but it stays the same. It's annoying because in theory he could play a 20-song concert that has never been matched by anyone. Yet he refuses.
Come on Moz. UK leg - shake it the cunt up.

Scored 3/14 from the signed records!!!! I bought it because it's the first time I've seen something like that on sale - he could never sign enough copies for the LA crowd. Look for it after the show is over.
To the guy who brought his young son (who was on your shoulders) - that was awesome! He was so cute when he sung along! Let Mozzer live on in the new generation! I'll do the same with my kid one day!
