  • Just got back to my hotel after barging my way through the drinkers of Finland. I've never known a nation rival Scotland for boozing!
Moz was in much better form than Stockholm in my opinion. The venue was a basketball court in a suburban/comercial area of town and it was stinking hot. The crowd were really into it (maybe due to the amount of booze that was flowing with cans and bottles being consumed in the park outside).
Usual set-list but from my normal position I could see that moz was enjoying himself more. He mentioned he didn't know much Finish words, infact only one and made a few comments during the night but not too much. No stage invasions or attempts but a really warm crowd, which I think Morrissey appreciated.
On to Helsinki now and need to sleep if this sun ever goes down!

If people are only to insult others in this medium, then why bother to leave a viewpoint at all?

  • It was a great gig. Really sweaty also. I've seen him twice before, but now I went closer to the stage and it really paid off. It's really nice to see him interpret the songs with such intensity. Although he's not this traditional entertainer kind of performer, he makes the show alive with his singing and gestures. It seems that he's really into these songs.

I would have wanted to hear Why DonĀ“t You Find Out for Yourself, and the set could have been a bit longer (with two more songs or so), but still, this was the best gig I have seen from him.

  • Morrissey and the band played a tight set with only a few comments in between songs. They were all in excellent form and Morrissey seemed positive and even amused by the crowd's response. I was on about the third row and got a good view from between two tall blokes heads. Loved every second of it! Can't quite believe I'm going to see another gig tonight.

  • First row Tampere (Score:2, Interesting)

A wonderful gig experienced from the first row. The stage was quite close but I didn't get a handshake as he focused more on the other side of the stage.
I was a bit surprised he didn't comment on the fact that he was playing at the Manchester of Finland (that's what we call Tampere). He probably didn't even know. Also no comments on MJ's death.
I hope to hear Moz chat a bit more tonight in Helsinki.

  • No need to worry about the song being played on other dates, he will keep it there or add a different song instead, besides it probably makes it a bit more interesting for him seen as the setlist is basically the same sinse the start of the tour.

  • Moz & band in top form, also wild audience, better show than in Stockholm. Setlist was changed a little, i'm glad Something is squeezing my skull was back in the set. When i last spoke to Carol sounds good live, better than in album. Pics

  • I loved every minute of it. Morrissey seemed to be in good spirits, quite a bit of banter between songs. The crowd was reasonably lively which seemed to egg the band on. Great gig!
