    The [elder?] singer of the Smiths returns to France for a unique concert.

    MORRISSEY PARISIEN

    Morrissey will be in a unique concert in France on 20 September at the Olympia in Paris. Absent
    from the French scene after his concert at the Zenith - and one session of [?] in 1995 - the [elder?] singer of the Smiths will pass through Paris after two dates at the Royal Albert Hall in London the 17th and 18th of September. Morrissey [?] an American tour in the month of August, and participating in a festival in Japan [?] where he has performed four new songs including the magnificent The First in the Gang to Die. A new album, Irish Blood, English Heart, is ready, but is awaiting a record company.

  • Strange to see how heartless is the announcement in les Inrockuptibles. The magazine used to be the first (and only) supporter of our favorite singers from the Smiths to Vauxhall and I. Seems now the magazine totally changed its vision. Journalists have said almost nothing good about Maladjusted and Southpaw Grammar. This time again - though i bet they will cover the French Concert with emphasis, to remind themselves of their fake yout - the text of the article is as poetical as the Petit Robert or the Yellow Pages (french annuary).
