  • Yes, I want Morrissey playing on my college. That's the only way to not listen to some brazilian atrocities such as Rouge, Jorge Vercilo or, worst of all, the Biquini Cavadão (the brazilian Simple Minds) remixes album.

But I think I would choose Spiritualized, which price is between 10.000 and 15.000

  • He could play my end-of-summer outdoor BBQ party? Is that $50K plus expenses (airfare, roadies, etc.)?

  • In my opinion, $50k is a bargain in order to get Morrissey to play. I think he is far more deserving...maybe $100-$150k. Then again, this is just my opinion....I don't sign the checks

  • So, I could get Morrissey to appear at my birthday party for 50k? Woo hoo!

Or even better, can I pay Morrissey 50k to come to my house and play a private concert in my living room, just me and the boys?

    I don't know about that...

  • I'm interested to bring him back for playing in Brazil. But where's the phone numbers or e-mail for contact. Last tour here they charged R$ 60,00 (local currency, something like US$ 20,00 today). If he plays for 4,5 thousand people the profit (not net) goes arournd R$ 82.000,00 (something like US$ 22,000. Wow he can make money and I can too.... One only show... It's guaranteed.... Not to talk about the pleasure would be to bring Moz for a gig....

And all those lies, written lies, twisted lies. Well, they weren't lies, they weren't lies...
  • Let´s bring him to Mexico....
When he came in the Oye Esteban Tour, he played in fron of around 9,000 people.... And they charged at an average of $25.00 USD (going low)....
So they made around $225,000 USD.

Sooo, please bring him again to the Auditorio Nacional.... He´d pack the place definitely, and at that quote it´ll be a very lucrative business!!!!!

  • Including Moz,I recognized 8 out of the 46 names listed and even at that,I would have heard songs by about 4 of them.
Music has obviously moved on since the 80's.

  • because I thought there were a couple interesting things about it, the main one being that I don't think he earns that much from each show on a tour. The venue I saw him at held about 1000 people and tickets were $30. ... If you do the math, he can't be making $50k off a show like that, considering how many other hands are in the pot.
Also, I just find it interesting that everyone has a price. Want P Diddy to play your bbq? Sure! If you've got enough $, the world is yours.
I tend to think that either this is old information that Clear Channel ended up adding to their site, or that generally someone just added it without contacting Morrissey. Anyway, I just thought you all might get a kick out of it.
