I guess with the cost of travel, a Morrissey disappoinment is likely to be somewhat more expensive too.
It's almost part of the experience... even when you are in the auditorium you know that nothing's for definite. The excitement/relief when he actually walks on stage is probably unique to Morrissey.

I feel so glad for all the people, all the dear friends over the years that supported Morrissey and the Smiths in this country, where it's NOT easy to dare to be different, to listen to something controversial and different, to hold on to certain values...and they are all going to be there, Danton and Ruby and Argyris and Katerina and Alexis and Sotiris and Stelios and Melina and hundreds of the old and newer fans. Just...just to see him once again take the stage and us singing along and being in heaven for an hour or so...could you dream of something better than this?
I hope that good friends from abroad will come to see us as well...Nat and Mel, what do you think?

Maybe he heard very late too, that Hilton that he stayed last time is closed for some .."lifting" and he did not want to stay anywhere else... hahaha!
