The British Sunday tabloid the News Of The World is reporting on its showbiz page edited by Rav that Morrissey is over the moon after signing a £5m deal with Sanctuary Records. “An insider told me: They’ve bought his back catalogue of songs which they will re-release.” --- MyMelody also writes: This was in Rav's entertainment column. Story reads as follows: 'Charming man Morrissey is over the moon after signing a £5 million deal with Sanctuary records. An insider told me: 'They've bought his back catalogue of songs which they will now re-release'. Fair enough, but are they going to release any new stuff? And can anyone really imagine Morrissey being 'over the moon' about anything? Still, fingers crossed. --- Kath also writes: In a crappy gossip column in todays god awful sunday tabloid the news of the world it says morrissey has signed a five million pound deal with sanctuary including back catalogue which is to be reissued if not repackaged. it is very rare indeed for such a downmarket rag to take any interest in morrissey whatsoever. just so you know

Our Pinnacle Rep. seem to be saying the same as the newspaper.
Don't know 'bout the re-issues, but Sanctuary appears to be best bet.

Although having said that, why it would be announced in NOTW is beyond me. Also, why bother re-releasing the back catalogue again?? Is there anyone left who hasn't got viva hate yet??
Whether there is truth in the story or not, surely it's only a matter of time.
