A Sighting! Yesterday, Tuesday 14th October in Reading, Berkshire (about 30 miles west of London), I saw the Moz strolling down the main drag - Broad Street! Don't think me mad cos he's been here before at a recording studio just nearby. It's called Outside Studios where he recorded some late 80's stuff including Ouija Board, Ouija Board. I'm still trembling with excitement and I'm 39 years old!

Might we hear some new tracks with piano or keyboards playing a prominent role?

I almost feel sorry for Morrissey - rumbled! Then again it is his favourite studio where he recorded Kill Uncle and nearly everything since Vauxhall & I onwards (Southpaw and Maladjusted included).
That's Hook End Manor in the video for Ouija Board too....

There's nothing missing in the racks and the studio's got stacks of analogue and digital multi-tracks. But that's enough about gadgets, what makes the studio special to work in is the huge amount of space, both the control room and studio areas are vast.
There is no doubt, the technical and acoustic specs are among the best in the world plus additional support from SARM's other top London studios guarantee the sessions will go like clock-work.
If space is what you want, this place has got it. If you are in to nature, the huge grounds feature one of the largest monkey puzzle trees in the UK and the gardens are right out of a feature film. If horse riding is your thing, talk with Lola, the studio manager, she'll sort you out! Keep fit in the gym or go for a swim in the covered pool.
Best of all, the accommodation is simply superb. Take your choice from a wide range of original rooms, some designed by Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd- a previous owner). Our favorite is the World War II vibe room, no doubt influenced by Roger Waters. There are numerous relaxation rooms where the mega star can entertain in suitable style.
The food is excellent and the staff are top rate. All in all, you couldn't hire a decent top hotel suite in London for the same money - and you get one of the world's top studios thrown in too. We're blown away and you will be too!
We are setting up a video tour with an exclusive guest introduction next month, so check back soon to watch what promises to be our best feature yet!"
