British Accents is currently exploring the possibility of a Morrissey tribute concert in Boston in mid-late May, in conjunction with Moz's birthday and the release of "You Are the Quarry". I'm looking for at least one Moz/Smiths cover and/or tribute band, either an organized band or a group of musicians from other bands who want to get together and have some fun. E-mail [email protected] if you need more info or have a band that is interested in performing. You can also sign up for the British Accents e-mail newsletter, featuring Britpop music news, contests, record release dates, concert listings for Boston, NYC, and SF, and more.

  • By all means DO NOT get the Sweet and tender Hooligans from Los Angeles. The singer has a huge ego and is not worth the time of day. Get 'These Charming Men' from Dublin, they are worth it 100% .

  • I say the Sweet and Tender Hooligans and This Charming Man. Both are great and most folks appreciate their efforts.

Hey are they still having these British Accents nights at ManRay? Hope not as that is the worst club in the world. The people there are so lame and fake. If you are why not try the Middle East or TT The Bears or another better place to see a band. Manray is yesterdays trend.
