Morrissey Birthday Party in Los Angeles (May 22)

For those of us not lucky enough to be in Manchester, Sweet and Tender Hooligans and The Section Quartet will be performing at the annual Morrissey Unhappy Birthday Party here in Morrissey's adopted home of Los Angeles.

The Section Quartet will perform their string instrumental versions of Morrissey/The Smiths classics and then join Sweet and Tender Hooligans live onstage. This party sells out every year and The Hooligans will donate all profits from this show, in Morrissey's name, to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals as our gift to the 45-year-old birthday boy.
