Razor Cuts, 23rd May, 7-10pm: A Morrissey Special!

Razor Cuts with Virgin Radio's Pete Mitchell is full of some of the best music you've ever heard; from the Stones to The Strokes, the Pistols to Primal Scream and The Fall to Franz Ferdinand. Plus, each week a special guest picks their favourite tracks; Razor Cuts is required listening every Sunday night.

A very special show this week!

Its Morrissey-mania as music fans up and down the land get ready to hear their first taste of You Are The Quarry, the former Smiths icon's first album in 7 years. The Manchester Arena show; his first hometown gig in over 12 years, sold out in under an hour, the NME fell over themselves to give him a front page for the first time since he left England, apparently in disgust, to take up residence in L.A. and practically every young band under the sun continues to proclaim the genius of Stephen Patrick Morrissey. So of course Razor Cuts has devoted a whole hour to the great man to do, well... basically what the hell he likes. Will he play his new album in its entirety back-to-back?... will he reveal some of his favourite solo or Smiths tracks?... treat us to a taste of some of the new bands he's planning to sign to the Attack label that Sanctuary Records have promised him?... or perhaps preview some of the new tracks he's written for his next-door neighbour Nancy Sinatra.

You'll just have to listen in to find out.
