The indie porn site Supercult.com (whose owner Chase Lisbon was in the Irish blood, English Heart video) has a page dedicated to Moz tattoos and is accepting photos from fans who have had Morrissey related subjects marked on their skins for life. It is interesting, at the very least.

    I've been thinking of different designs, the most likely of which is either 'Morrissey' in the old English font across my right abdomen, or 'There is a light and it never goes out' down the right side (I already have my German football team's symbol on my left chest, and Liverpool's is about to be added to the right chest).

    Which is your tattoo?

  • Just wondering whether the "STILL ILL" tattoo is of Preston's of the Ordinary Boys? At least their ex-drummer had a few the Smiths related tattoos.

  • I have the 'Meat is Murder' cover tattooed on my upper left arm. Those who have seen it consider it to be a work of art. So do I. The greatest tattoo I have ever seen, but I am biased.

  • so... moz wrote "morrissey was here" on my wrist for the tattoo, but he wrote "morrissey ha ha ha" on sunny's ... and we have no idea why. it's now tattooed there. i think he thought it was funny that whatever he wrote would always be there, so he wrote "ha ha ha" but... who knows. i do know that it makes us laugh. especially wondering what people think when they see it.

  • I'd love a Morrissey/Smiths tattoo... no idea what I would get though. Nothing big though, something small just for me like the lyric on the wrist ones. Trouble is I'd never be able to choose one line! Or I did see a good one saying THE SMITHS on someones' upper back.

  • i realise that there not the best of the smiths tattoos i've seen, but i have the lyrics ; if its not love then its the bond...(on one wrist, and) the bond that'll bring us together on the other with swirls and stars encircling them. it hurt,but it was worth it,i hope moz himself appreciates them as much as i do!!
