Removal of tour dates from official site

  • Someone over at the message board there went into detail about how those dates were simply a placeholder that the software inserted arbitrarily (which is why they were the same). It had to display something, so it displayed Feb. 1st.

    Even so, it created hope!

    I'm hoping for the rumoured Asian tour. Bring it!

  • There had to be something wrong with those dates since there were 3 on the same day. They appeared just after Dublin and gave me hope over Xmas and New Year but it seems they were not real. If they were just a tease then it's a very odd way of respecting people.

    I think Moz deserves a holiday but a bit of truth might not hurt. I for one have holidays etc to plan and it would be nice to know one way or the other if there is going to be anything over the next few months then I can plan for it. It would really be annoying to book a holiday or work dates and then find out that I am clashing with a Moz date.

    I wish I had the kind of life that would allow me to drop everything at a moments notice for a Morrissey gig but unfortunately I don't and it would be decent to have some sort of announcement that either there will be something or not in the next few months. I'm willing to wait to see but surely it is in Morrissey's interest to let people know so that they can make plans to be there or not.
