a story on the radio writes:
Hello, tonight on a programme on UK's channel 4 Morrissey was the subject of a short sketch. The program is called "The Friday Night Project" and essentially the idea of the program is that three comedians are presented each week by a different host presenter. This weeks presenter was a guy called Neil Morrissey. In the UK he is quite well known for acting in a comedy series called "Men Behaving Badly" and making commercials. Anyway, there was a brief segment on the show whereby Niel Morrissey did a spoof upon the idea of those "you cannot buy this in stores.." type commercials. The idea was "Morrissey (Neil) does Morrissey" whereby he imitated some of Morrissey's songs. It was all done in good taste.

Neil Morrissey is a twat. (Score:1)
No, it was a puerile and pathetic attempt to ridicule Morrissey, whereby the idiotic fuckwit that is Neil Morrissey, "impersonated" our boy in the usual cliched fashion, as a maudlin misery singing miserable dirges, pretending to be advertising a CD "Morrissey sings Morrissey" (I know, hilarious eh.) while made-up song titles, such as "ouch! that's a nasty bruise", ran across the bottom of the screen.
If anyone thinks all that sounds like it might have been quite funny, it wasn't even remotely amusing.
Which goes for "The Friday Night Project" too.
Apart from the live bands, it is an utter pile of shit.

Comedians using Morrissey as material is fair enough though and its stupid to get offended over it. I'm sure its all in jest after all.
This isn't the first time and won't be the last time. Anyone else remember Morrissey The Consumer Monkey?

Still, I completely want to have Jimmy Carr's babies. And having "The Bravery" on the other week was amazing - the singer looks like... well... like he could be Morrissey's secret son!
