Henry Winkler from Happy Days was on the view this A.M. He mentioned that his daughter is currently in Rome working with a rock artist named Morrissey's new album.

The term "jumping the shark" was coined by some guy on a website of the same name that describes the moment when a television show or really any other medium has past its creative peak.

Many thought the TV show "Happy Days" lost its relevance in the episode when Fonzie played by Henry Winkler was challenged to jump a caged shark on jetskis.

Oddly enough, in an episode of my favorite TV show "Arrested Development", Henry Winkler, who played the Bluth family lawyer actually jumped a dead shark on a pier as sort of a visual joke most people recognized as a reference to that phrase. The Bluth family lawyer is now being played by Scot Baio, who was Chachi, Fonzie's nephew on "Happy Days." The show's narrator is Ron Howard, who was Richie Cunningham on "Happy Days" as well.

            Aren't you glad you asked?

Does this mean it's time for Moz to "jump the shark"? No, wait, it's Super-Visconti to the rescue!!!

  • Morrissey's friend Linder sang backup on "Driving Your Girlfriend Home".

Whatever job she is doing, lucky her!:)

On the subject of Henry Winkler..does anyone know if he attended the Halloween show of the YATQ tour? My friend was there, and swore that she saw him. She was too shy to talk to him, though.

  • {Thumb Up} "Heeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy"! The Fonz was bigger than James Dean and Morrissey put together in the 70's! I wonder if his daughter wears a leather jacket like her dad? Is Morrissey dating her? THATS IT! Rome is the city of romance! Could the Mozman be telling us something? We will know more if Arnold's Drive In is on the cover of his new album that is coming out next year! {Both Thumbs Up} "AAAAYYYYEEEE"!

  • We all know, of course, that Jed Weitzman who is one of Morrissey's managers/assistants is Henry Winkler's stepson. So either the interviewer got it wrong, or Jed brought in his sister to help with the album - both of these options seem quite likely.

Henry Winkler's daughter is called Zoe Emilie Winkler.

  • This potential collaboration is made all the more bizzare when considering the mental image in my mind of 'The Fonz' asking hapless individuals to "step into my office" before taking them into the gents for a severe dressing down and/or advice/gentle persuasion. The Fonz's daughter eh? (Alebeit his daughter in real life) I can imagine her as a child at school, with her pretty little dress and pink ribbons mingling with her kiss-curly be-quiffed hair.... advising in no uncertain terms that her teacher should "sit on it"

    Oh happy days!

PS: The new album title kicks "arse"
