...Turner seemed perplexed by the myriad of items flung on stage during their set - calling one bra flinging woman "stupid" and commenting "is Morrissey here or summat" as a tricolour flag wrapped around his microphone.

  • Glaring inaccuracies all 'round from this particular coke-dazed NME hack...

    a) Turner ACTUALLY said 'Didn't Morrissey get in trouble for something like this?' when someone threw a tricolour onto the stage, and

    b) We Are Scientists did NOT get the biggest cheer of the night, nor did any of their songs. They were largely incredibly boring, a view shared by most people I spoke to.

  • The only remotely interesting thing about the Arctic Monkeys is that their album is named after one of Morrissey's favourite films.
