Morrissey has achieved his first ever UK number 1; well on the Woolworth's singles chart! The chart is compiled before sales begin so is a bit of a guess but tends to be accurate to within 2 or 3 places. The Streets are at number 2. ---MAL also writes: 'You Have Killed Me' is number 1 in Woolworths in their singles chart on its week of release. The Steets are at number 2. Hope it has a very good reflection on the official UK singles chart this Sunday. 'Irish Blood...' got a high entry on both charts last time round, Number 3 in both. Morrissey also has 2 albums in the top ten of the Woolworths' budget album chart and the Smiths has one in the top ten of that chart also.
