is terrible indeed. Overated. The French aren't any better either. Arrogant species that regard themselves very highy: think they trew the germans out in WWII themselves, hate brits and americans for doing so. etc. (exepections 2 the rule but generally taken). And the whole of France is way expensive.

great ski-ing, beautiful beaches, gorgeous mountains, civilised and attractive towns, excellent public transport, petanque, amandines aux chocalats, aubergine pizza au feu de bois, lovely mediterranean islands (Corsica), great climate, le vin rouge, lovely language, stylish ladies, vache qui rit;

Shall I remind you your Godlike singer Mr Morrissey enjoys Paris very much ? He played 3 times there on the last tour and had a great time in the Olympia. "Beethoven was deaf" was captured in "le Zénith". Alain Delon is TQIS cover star. Sacha Distel back on the scene. How could someone like Morrissey be wrong ? I guess he chose Roma because of the higher rents in Paris, that's all. Paris is better for Vegies and not bad for "inverted people" with his "Marais" and clubs. I guess Italian Moz will soon turn into a French one.... He'll get a French "béret" and a "baguette de pain" under his arms for the next album singing "I'll will see you in far off places" (the far off places must have been Paris !)
