Video of 'All You Need Is Me' appears on the internet

A new Morrissey track, 'All You Need Is Me', has appeared online.

The song was premiered on US chat show 'Last Call With Carson Daly' on October 10.

The glam rock-influenced tune - complete with the memorable lyric "I was a small fat child in a welfare house" - was introduced by host Daly as the "first time on network television" the track had been performed.

According to True-to-you.net, another new track, 'That's How People Grow Up', will be broadcast at a later date.

The performance can be watched below.

  • The strength of this song is the drum/bass. After listening to it more clearly, I think it's superb! Those guys from the band are really good. :)

  • I actually love this song. When I first heard it on Kimmel, I was impressed, but i like it more and more everytime I hear it. It's one of my fave songs on the current setlist. It's great live. And it's just really catchy. I actually really like all of the new songs. Sorry, but true.

  • A good Morrissey song should be hairy and handsome, muscular and manly. I do believe it's an average Moz single, up there with 'Satan' and 'piccadilly' but not one of the classic 'Dagenham Dave'/''Boy Race' moments.

I admire boz's clothes on this video and find his built very appealing.

Incidentally, some trolls have taken to impersonating me in a desperate bid for attention and perhaps even out of admiration.

Unless I sign it Paul, it is not written by Paul. Beware of cheap imitations from foreign lands.

  • this version of the band is pretty amped up. very muscular song. i don't think it's amazing piece of writing or music, but i love the way it's performed here - straight ahead and aggressive.
