Don't mention the war (Score:1, Insightful)
Obviously a lot of people still care. The only way to stop hearing that question is to produce music as good as what The Smiths produced, which won't happen. As much as I love Johnny's contributions to The The, Electronic, Cribs, Modest Mouse, etc, it is nowhere near the heights of The Smiths or any of Morrissey's solo stuff. I'm not saying I'd like to see a Smiths reunion as it would probably only tarnish the legacy, but people will continue to ask about Morrissey when interviewing Johnny, its the reason a lot of people even tune in to his interviews in the first place. FACT.

I went to see The Cribs the other night and they were a real disappointment. Not surprised JM's a bit grumpy.

Mind you, can you imagine yourself in his shoes and being asked the same stuff over and over again. It must get pretty annoying.

      I think it would be more interesting to talk... (Score:1)
      about the smiths and Morrissey than to talk about being a session musician for bands that are really not that interesting. I am sorry - but the bands that Marr has chosen to work with are not that good. He is definitely an enigma.

        Unfortunately Johnny we care more about your work with The Smiths and your relationship with Morrissey than we do about your work with The Cribs or Modest Mouse.Sorry if that drives you mad but I don't think thats ever gonna change...you can almost hear the steam coming out of your ears when the interviewer mentions the S word or even worse, the M word!
