Angel Down We Go" covered by Courteeners

Not a huge (or even moderate) fan of the Courteeners but interesting to hear that they (or rather the singer) covered "Angel..." at their concert at the Salford Lads Club.
Good to hear bands covering the less obvious songs...

  • Is Salford Lads Club so well known that it's reasonable to encourage its reference by initials alone? South London College, Student Loans Company, and even Salt Lake City rate far higher in Google searches for "SLC site:.uk" than Salford Lads Club. And at least Salt Lake City (via SLC Punk) has had an indie movie named after it.
