Moz on Radio2 4th October

Radcliffe and Maconie have just had a small discussion about the Simon Armitage interview and said that Morrissey is due to come in for an interview on 04/10/10-which is of course Bona Drag's release date. (Discussed in the last 10 minutes of the show).

Note the Bona Drag release date change from Sep. 27 to Oct. 4, mentioned here and in the Guardian article.

  • A good choice for a programme, in all honesty.

For the non Brits amongst us, this pair of presenters, like Mozzer, are 'professional Northeners' and are known for their humour, musical knowledge and wit.

In fact, Mr Maconie has interviewed Morrissey before and campaigned for him to be regarded as a "Greatest Living Icon" on BBC television.

The interview will be good, I'm sure.

  • I love Morrissey's radio interviews. I'm really looking forward to this one. Let's not forget that Morrissey comes from the generation where radio and radio programmes were a crucial source of information. No internet back then, oh no!
Morrissey often gives a good radio interview, so let's hope this is a good'un!

  • I read the interview by Simon Armitage. I thought Mr. Armitage was rude to Moz, like pointing out Mozzer's aging, but not his own, saying Moz is not a poet, etc. Mr. Armitage admitted to once imitating Moz, but now he's like, "I'm a poet and Moz is not." What an R-tard. Good news Mozzer's autobio. is almost complete. I've done anti-China animal activism myself. Thomas Jefferson School of Law sells a "China program" to its students bragging about how "prestigious" it is to study law in China. I e-mailed the faculty member in charge: "So what of the fact that China's laws allow for the indiscriminate killing of dogs?" No response. Valid questions like that generally get no response. Note to Moz: some people in the world have no family. They were given up for adoption then spent their childhoods bouncing from foster home to foster home. But then again those types are very bitter, so better not to get involved with them either.

It's weak mate...and to think he always wanted (...and still does) to be a pop star...loads of teeny girls, drugs etc...that's why he's trying to get on every TV show going...
