September 14, both 'This Charming Man,' and 'Irish Blood, English Heart' will be available as DLC for Rock Band 2 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Also, the release of Rock Band 3 in late October will include 'Stop Me If You Think That You've Heard This One Before.'

Saw this on the Rock Band website. Thought it was worthy of an update.

    lighten up, morrissey!
  • Which version of This Charming Man - the original with Marr's brilliant guitar line, or the more recent live renditions with Jesse chunking out the chords like it's a Strokes song?

  • People!.. such criticism? Have you ever PLAYED rock band? You don't take over a band's songs, you PLAY ALONG!!! It is outstanding fun. I play with my kids, and I have found a lot of good bands and music I normally would not have exposure to. And my kids have discovered bands they've come to love (and it's NOT Justin Beiber or Lady Gaga shit). My 12 year old and 6 year old now love the Beatles, and are very accomplished at singing John's lyrics or playing Paul's bassline. They can identify each Beatle by face and voice! They know Iggy Pop and the Pixies, the Doors and Bob Marley. They play as Matt Bellamy doing lead guitar on Muse songs (which is unbelievably hard, by the way). My 10 year old now knows Queen and David Bowie music, and put them on his iPod. Morrissey is a brilliant businessman for this, and I have been hoping for Smiths/Mozzer on RB or Guitary Hero. I CANNOT WAIT to sing along with Moz and play guitar as Johnny. MORE EXPOSURE FOR MOZ AND THE SMITHS' BRILLIANCE, A NEW GENERATION OF FANS TO KEEP IT ALL ALIVE, IT IS A GOOD THING!!!

  • Moz has an open mind. Rock Band is total, complete, sophisticated fun and will win him thousands upon thousands more fans, mostly under 21. And Stop Me.... is one of my fave Smiths songs, CANNOT WAIT!
