What is the problem people have with "murses" there?
In Europe and Asia, at least, they are fashionable, functional accessories. Give me a Fred Perry or Lonsdale murse any day over an unsightly rucksack.
When I see big Americans waddling around Tokyo with backpacks strapped to their bodies (and I don't mean actual backpackers), even when they're wearing suits, they look like overgrown 8-year-olds.

I dunno, they just looked like jeans to me.
I love how the video demonstrates that the store is so special by showing a celebrity setting foot in the store, not showing the actual clothes for sale.
Well, whatever. The store owner said she parks in the back and doesn't like to look at what's happening on Melrose. Her store will probably be next. I can buy old jeans at thrift stores for peanuts, or online without getting up off my ass, if I want to. Melrose Ave. can go fuck themselves. When you rise on being "hip" and trendy, you fall just as fast. The real reason people probably stopped shopping there was cuz they realized it was a rip off. The fashion designers don't look to celebrities for their ideas; they look to what's going on on the streets amongst folks of humble means who have their own original styles. Morrissey was once a man of humble means on the streets of Manchester, and he made his name in music and fashion before he ever shopped where the celebrities shop. Fuck Hollywood.
