  • "A pre-Britpop landmark and absolute necessity". So true. Although Morrissey was given no credit when the "Brit pop" exploded in the UK - the press just simply ignored him at the time, it was all about Blur & Oasis.

Bona Drag re-issue has had some very positive reviews in this month's UK music mags (Mojo, Uncut & Q). Mainly 4 out of 5.

  • .... 'Bona Drag' first came out- freshman year. I didnt have a car so I had to walk over a mile to get to the one cd shop in town. That's what you get when you go to school in a small town in Indiana. Anyway, I was so unhappy that 1) there was only one new track on the cd and 2)great tracks like 'Sister I'm a Poet' and 'Girl Least Likely To' were left off the cd. Looking back, however, it was a good collection and I still think it's the best Morrissey solo collection cd. Much better than 'Hits' or any of the others. Yes, I will buy it again but I won't walk to get it this time. I'll buy it off itunes ;)
