Is one of the best rock vocalists in existence right now (*Dare I say right next to Morrissey, perhaps?). A highly important artist. Morrissey please make more music with her, and maybe another tour?

She'll also be playing a show at The Roxy in Hollywood with Patrick stump from Fall Out Boy on drums on Wed. Oct. 27 @ 10:00!

I was fully expecting to see nothing but hate for Kristeen Young on here, but the good nature of 3 out of 4 of the comments warmed my heart this morning.

I too, think Kristeen Young is a wonderful talent, and very vocally refreshing as well.
Kind of a less schizophrenic Diamanda Galas with a bit more pop sensibility.

Thanks to romeogirl for posting the download. The discussion was very interesting and mostly astute. Kristeen Young is like a new woman who sounds much more comfortable in her skin, communicating in a relaxed way and adding an awful lot to proceedings over and above the first airing of her song, Fantastic Failure. I enjoyed the persiflage between her and Jose about trolls on knitting boards... All in all, highly recommended.
