'Morrissey' performs stand-up in comedy podcast by Stanley McHale

I got recommended a podcast on iTunes which contains (in the first two episodes, anyway) a section called 'Morrissey: Stand-Up Comedian'.

This features an impression of Morrissey performing at a Salford comedy club, and as far as I can tell (correct me if I'm wrong) his 'material' is made up of genuine quotes from magazine interviews, etc.

It's the best impression of Morrissey I've ever heard. Judging by the podcast's cover image, the guy looks like a fan, so I think it's safe to say it's a homage rather than a jibe.

Anyway, made me laugh.

    It's not that good of an impression. And it's not that funny (the quotes were funnier when Morrissey said them).

  • It is a pretty great impression, its not just the voice but the way he talks to with his emphises on particular words.
