  • Iconic image: numerous symbologies present.

Brilliant, could be an album cover.

  • What an amazing photograph. It was great to see so many young people standing up for thier rights against all the panoply of the fascist regime. Wouldn't it have been great if they had burned HM Treasury to the ground, and if they had strung up Charles and Camilla from the nearest lamp-post like Mussolini and Clara Petacci. 'Off with their heads' - LOL!

  • Blown up into a backdrop for Morrissey's next tour.

Granted, it doesn't fit the minimum age requirement for his images, but it seems uncannily suited for the stage.

    Instantly iconic.

  • This is a brilliant photo, i think this person will be very proud to have been spotted in this way. I would be. Great stance, great T-shirt, great clock, such a powerful subject! Are they Doc Martens?

Definately should the backdrop on Morrissey's next tour!

It should be applauded - to empathise with a group that you are not part of shows a deeper sense of humanity.

      This is a beautiful picture.
(And considering the whole Moz/Marr v Cameron thing, quite timely!)

  • He/She/It appears to be about 30 years old. Hopefully he'll be arrested and charged for the damage he's done to the barricades. I mean, he has enough money to spend on expensive hair styling and appears to be in the midst of some sort of sex change operation, so he surely must have some money. Is it wrong of me to look forward to the use of water cannons on ninnies like this?

  • The picture says it all, so little commentary is needed. Get yourselves a worth while skill, or trade and avoid a serious tuition debt or student loan that may hang over your head like a death sentence. THINK now friends, what do people need everyday?? Food, clothing, shelter and medical care and things related to them. Electricians, barbers, nurses, doctors, brick masons, carpenters, organic farmers. Grow wheat grass, open a small caterers biz, income at home.com...Come on England, you ruled the world. Don't let these eletists rule you!

  • Great composition on this photo. I'm sure Morrissey has already ordered several prints (converted to high contrast b&w?).

The Chelsea haircut is a female skinhead standard -- here it's grown out obviously. The red laces on the docs -- do they still signify far-right leanings or is that all ancient history?

  • See how the two colours blend?

The blue and white clothes seem to borrow the sky's hues. The orange hair mirrors the famous clock tower and other stone and steel in view. Elements come together for an iconic tableau.

The gazes of protester, riot police and crowd members focus intensely on the moment's volatility. The boy on the T-shirt looks elsewhere, as if to say, 'there is another world, must be'. He was a big fan too - http://www.morrissey-solo.com/article.pl?sid=06/09/15/1647206 [morrissey-solo.com]
