Currently reading Nick Kent's 70s memoir Apathy For The Devil and Moz gets couple of mentions.... in 1973/4, according to the author, he was a regular correspondent to Nick Kent, "who wrote letters to me practically every week during that year." There then follows the subject of Morrissey's missives, namely the NY Dolls and how Moz's dream was to escape "dreary Manchester and reinvent himself as one of the Dolls' glitzy entourage in downtown Manhattan."

BBC Radio One is recording a documentary about THE QUEEN IS DEAD today.
Not sure when it will be broadcast as I never listen to Radio 1.

Those younger members of Solo might hear about it inbetween the hip-hop and other 'cool' phat choons.

I remember about a year back Morrissey was the specialist subject, so here we go again. This is a chance for you to test your wits against the clock. I just wanted to quickly mention that the morbid siblings, Chapin Sisters performed The Smiths' "I Know It's Over" for their encore, last night at the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis. I'm happy to see them playing the song on this recent tour, because when they opened up for She & Him, their brief set didn't include any cover songs.
