Morrissey concert in Auckland, NZ - cancelled

And here we go again. This is just unacceptable, not an apology or (real) explanation. I really feel for the fans who have spent lots of money, some traveling from outside of the country. come on, Morrissey, these devoted fans deserve better.

Morrissey Central "BEAM OF LIGHT." (May 19, 2023)

Such sad news today. Andy really was one of genuine nice guys, I've never heard a bad word said about him. Andy's bass playing was crucial to the Smiths, it's still largely underrated. It's so good to read Morrissey's kind words to Andy's passing. RIP.

    Morrissey Central “2022” (December 25, 2022)

Love this video. I know 2022 had some big highlights, but surely next year has to be better for M. Here's hoping both albums are released, and another UK tour happens.

Morrissey Central "Release" - Bonfire release details (October 29, 2022)

Can't wait to hear this album. All the negative comments on here re RHCP, from people who probably haven't heard their last few outstanding albums.

Justin Hawkins analyzes "The Queen Is Dead" - 'I'll Fight You, If You Disagree With Me'

Really getting into Justin's videos. He seems like a decent geezer, and he clearly has good taste in music.

    Glasgow - SEC Armadillo (Oct. 2, 2022) post-show

I agree 100% Great songs that spanned his entire solo recordings, the yet-to-be-released songs sounded really good, and Smiths classics as well. What more could you ask for? The only negative was that it's a seated venue, but you can't really do much about that, and the thug security -...

Moz mention in new Blue October single "Where Did You Go I'm Less Of A Mess These Days" lyric

They're a great band, seen them live a few times. And yes, Justin is a serious Smiths fan.

Josh Klinghoffer Blames 'the Culture' for Morrissey Album Delay - Ultimate Classic Rock (June 5, 2022)

But it will sell, his releases always do. Admittedly, it isn't going to sell in the millions, and it won't stay in the charts for weeks. But to say it isn't going to sell is just wrong.

The Smiths live at the Nottingham Royal Centre on 21st Oct 1986, playing "How Soon Is Now?" and "Still Ill" - Soundsville International / YouTube

Brilliant! The mighty Smiths at the height of their power. This was, and still is, the perfect union.

Paddy Considine interview in The Independent, mentions Morrissey

Paddy is indeed one of the best actors out there, he also directed the excellent 'Tyrannosaur'. His role in Dead Man's Shoes really is terrifying. One of his lesser known films, In America, is also unmissable - stunning performances from the entire cast. And it's clear to see he has excellent...
