Excerpt:

BMG Records have dropped Morrissey. Following the March 2020 release of I AM NOT A DOG ON A CHAIN
(#1 Scotland, #1 Poland, #3 Britain, #3 France, #10 Spain, #13 Germany, #2, #9, #17, #18 U.S.A. - depending
on which official chart you follow), BMG have appointed a new Executive who does not want another Morrissey
album. Instead, the new BMG Executive has announced new plans for 'diversity' within BMG's artist roster, and
all projected BMG Morrissey releases/reissues have been scrapped.

"This news is perfectly in keeping with the relentless galvanic horror of 2020," said Morrissey, "we would be critically insane to expect anything positive."

Morrissey is once again in search of a new label willing to release his music.

"My three albums with BMG have been the best of my career, and I stand by them till death. Recording them has been a pivotal period in my life, and I thank the previous BMG team and everyone involved for that. It's still important to me to do music my own way, and I wouldn't want to be on a label that dictates so specifically how their artists should behave - especially when the word 'talent' is notably never mentioned."

Morrissey's duet with David Bowie is now available on Parlophone via Warner.

"There are too many cases of successful artists languishing at labels who are no longer interested in them." Alistair Norbury, BMG.

Morrissey's Las Vegas residency remains in place for 2021.

Maybe he does, & to be honest, if he reads half the shit that gets posted on here, who can blame him.

I don’t like Lewis Hamilton (I appreciate he is a good driver, but I don’t like him & think he is making F1 boring). You won’t find me wasting hours on a LH site slagging him off though.

And I’ve noticed the haters on here virtually never seem to participate in any other thread, you only see them when they come on to spew their bile.

He has also banned the site owner from any of his gigs.

If anyone could recover from this - before getting in more trouble - it's him.
A rare decent comment there. He’ll be back. Maybe with a new backing band. He could call them the ‘neo-nazis’ couldn’t he Nerak.

Morrissey & the neo-nazis sing right-wing anthems for the modern age.

I’d buy it.

In a weird way, part of me admires Morrissey's commitment to being difficult and impossible. Year after year, that complete refusal to 'play the game' or downgrade his ambitions, the way he'd rather be endlessly dropped than compromise... it's neurotic, self-destructive and probably pathological but it's SO rare. There aren't many people in life who can't be bought or swayed by anything, who will just keep on fighting even if they are being torn apart. He's a brave bastard.

Isn't it weird how there's a type of person, including Morrissey himself, who tries to make their case by pointing at non-white folk?
I just don’t like Hamilton, nothing to do with his skin colour. But of course, you can’t not like anyone who is black these days can you, it’s racist.

If it helps, I don’t know what colour you are, but I think you’re a c*** as well.

Fiona is very sweet - there's no need to be nasty about her lamentations.

Maybe he needs a romantic to be daft about him at this difficult time.

Well, that's one take. Problem is he just likes spending other people's money too much, so being with a label affords him that. It really is that simple.

That’s why he gets the bad press he does, he won’t virtue signal. He says what he thinks & that isn’t a popular thing to do.

I was just reading an article about the producer of ‘Have I got news for you’ lamenting the rise of woke & cancel culture (his words, not mine), how it’s killing comedy.

Still, I suppose as long as NO-ONE is offended by ANYTHING, that’s ok isn’t it.

Socialism is always preceded by chaos, its the only way to disrupt the collective mindset and we all know socialism equals death. Just look a cuba and north korea. We are greedy bastards in the usa and have a lot of guns so it is never going to happen here and we are a collective group, those that have money.

Stay strong Morrissey, this insantiy will end. The evil doers are already being exposed. Its time to get rid of the hangers on.

The thing about Morrissey is it's always someone else's fault? Always. He cannot understand why:

(a) The things he said are not conducive to a business wanting to make money from him
(b) Why he's still not as popular as he was back in the early 90s
(c) Why his chug-a-lug lyrical empty well doesn't chime with the kids of today

He thinks all those are someone else's fault. Not his. Serious question. When was the last time you heard/saw him apologise for anything or acknowledge wrong? It's never his fault. There's always someone somewhere to blame. And LAUGHABLY this time it's diversity. Seriously. Because if it wasn't for diversity, he'd still be top of the tree, right?

When you go down the right-wing rabbit hole, everything is someone else's fault, the 'man', diversity, Sadiq Khan, immigrants. It's all about the money for him, it always was and still is. He'll die a bitter lonely man, with a dwindling pot of money next to him as he sleeps
He has always been like this. He thought Rough Trade was run by a conspiracy of vampiric incompetents who could never see his genius, and he thought more or less the same about every label after that. I think these battles keep him going.

But the money again. He gets people into NDAs and confidentiality agreements just to work with him, and pay them to agree with him. It creates an unchallenged persona where his word is gospel, and if you're not prepared to put up with it, then f*** off. With no one to question him, because he's paid them not to question him, he's only going to spiral into his own world. With the inevitable results we are now seeing.

True, but wouldn't he have had a greater chance at staying on a major label (and making more money) if he had ever been willing to compromise? He could have taken the biggest bait of all time and filled his pension fund with 'reunion' money but he never has. Morrissey is driven by his anger and unhappiness, that's why he will never stop. To the detriment of his music career and his relationships and probably everything else in his life.

Yeah, but the reunion is never going to happen, not only because of the bridges he's burned, but because he would never allow Joyce the money. For a number of very good reasons.

Your mate Owen Jones was just sacked was he not from your bile bible, its happening to the lefties also
Has he been sacked has he? What for? That’s the best news I’ve heard all day, I hate that little c***. He’s such a wet drip.

And no, before the usual tossers pile in, not because he’s gay.
