specials were good in their day but nowhere near the class of the smiths,the way you can tell greatness is by how many bands were inspired by the output of the smiths.
The skinhead revival is inevitable and Moz always flirted with it in more ways than one. People who claim they love Moz but not The Smiths were too young to experience The Smiths and that means they feel insecure and envious of those that did so they try and separate something that is impossible to separate.

It's the end result that matters, the evolution and the strong remained and the weak disappeared leaving clean shaved heads and political views that keeps the likes of you awake at night.
