Hi there,

I have been thinking about stopping using the Moz-Solo website for a while, and after discusing it briefly with G.U. last week I think nows the correct time. However I would like to thank the folks for some real good laughs!!! Of course there was one or two morons but really I think that just reflects society!

The following persons are invited to corrospond by email in future, if they wish...and hopefully meet up at the next series gig or over Holidays...In alphabetical order...

Awake - Lest I ever need Nursing back to health I best keep in with you!

Girl Unafraid - A very loyal friend, supportive to me for many years!!!

Grim - Always good for the banter! we need to have a pint!

Mauve21 - To show me round Melbourne - otherwise my trip would be more Russle Coight than Mick Dundee! (And you can cry into your beer as we talk about exes)

Mer - Even though you were in Edinburgh and never told me! You are forgiven!

Morrissey-Forever - An update of your trials and triumphs would be nice!

Mozmic Dancer - We had some laughs - Todays were pretty good too!!!

Oh Reg! I will miss you.
But I can't blame you for making a dignified exit, as it is pretty toxic on here a lot of the time. I limit myself to work hours now.

Anyway here are a couple of farewell poems for you:

As from the house your mother sees
You playing round the garden trees,
So you may see, if you will look
Through the windows of this book,
Another child, far, far away,
And in another garden, play.
But do not think you can at all,
By knocking on the window, call
That child to hear you. He intent
Is all on his play-business bent.
He does not hear, he will not look,
Nor yet be lured out of this book.
For, long ago, the truth to say,
He has grown up and gone away,
And it is but a child of air
That lingers in the garden there.

Robert Louis Stevenson

"Fear Not, Dear Friend..."

Fear not, dear friend, but freely live your days
Though lesser lives should suffer. Such am I,
A lesser life, that what is his of sky
Gladly would give for you, and what of praise.
Step, without trouble, down the sunlit ways.
We that have touched your raiment, are made whole
From all the selfish cankers of man's soul,
And we would see you happy, dear, or die.
Therefore be brave, and therefore, dear, be free;
Try all things resolutely, till the best,
Out of all lesser betters, you shall find;
And we, who have learned greatness from you, we,
Your lovers, with a still, contented mind,
See you well anchored in some port of rest.

Have fun Reggie! I will send you an email if I may when I have something suitably trivial to talk about?
Jo

thanks for the poems...

I will indeed fear not!!! On a personal note I always found R.L.S. childhood to be so sad, bedridden but able to dream of adventure through reading and later writing, he also was a man of principle and seen peoples worth regardless of their circumstance, which cost him his family!!! - a very intresting man. Try and track down the theme to Kidnapped if you can - its vey haunting!

this is for you, you must know it's for you, what else can I think about?
I knocked on your door until my fingers were sore, although I'd guessed you were out
& what do I need? is it hunger or greed that has brought me here?

Oh I take back everything, I didn't mean a thing
