What soured the relationship with Sanctuary Records after YATQ?

i dont remember either. maybe its was so successful a comeback that someone else made a better offer

Sanctuary went bust, which turned out to be pretty much it for the relationship.

If you have not read his autobiography or care to google.

Sanctuary records owns Attack Records which released YATQ.

Moz did not like the name sanctuary so they used Attack Records as the release name as moz liked it.

read the biography but didnt remember that bit. i can use google but i prefer optional conversation to a google search so i ask. thanks to those who gave an answer(s)

Jeeze, does Moz sound up himself in that email or what?

Indeed. Given that little insight, (which chimes with all we know of the man himself from Autobiography, as well as interviews with others), how does anyone expect him to last with any record label for long?

'The Youngest Was the Most Loved' is - whilst not a complete steaming turd - so far from being a hit single in anyone's hands it's laughable. They could have played it all day and night on the radio, and no one was going to be moved to run out and buy it. But, of course, he blames the label - not the quality of the song...
