It was better than last night worst Moz show I was ever at and I have been to loads. Shit sound, terrible set-list and the new songs are at best average

Horrible crowd. I saw a couple of middle aged women telling off the more energetic members of the audience for bumping into them as they danced...I mean, WTF? It's a rock concert for fuck's sake, whaddya expect??? Have you never been to one before???!!! I wonder how they coped on the last tour if they went. You bitches sucked at audience participation...

when doing 2 nights in the same venue? Even songs that have BEEN played on this tour. (Stop Me, Suedehead, Future, I Like you.)

Or even a couple different new ones of ROTT.

Naturally Irish Blood, English Heart had us all up and dancing. He looked great and sounded better. Only one shirt change and no stage invasions, although he did touch people's hands during How Soon Is Now?

He apologised for A Song From Under The Floorboards being so 'terrible' the previous night...anyone able to elaborate?

Well as far as I was concerned he was fantastic!
The aftershow at The Oak bar was a blast even if I left at midnight...
Can't wait for Marlay Park!!

Absolutely phenomenal.
Small venues kick arse, much more intimate indeed.
Moz was in very playful form tonight, pretending to shoot himself on numerous songs, mockingly punching himself in the head.

When he waved to acknowledge the balcony(which wasn't until about 10 tracks in), he did it as if he was handicapped (honest!), putting his tongue in front of his lower teeth inside his mouth and doing almost hunchback movements.

"You surely aren't back for more" he said at the start before launching the show.

He introduced Jesse Tobias as ???? Tabascus or some such.

Boz seemed to really enjoy himself, but Gary Day looked a bit peeky, he seems to get paler with every show.

I adore Reader Meet Author, but live it doesn't sound great. On the flipside, Trouble Loves Me sounds absolutely unbelieveable live.

Poor reception for My Life Is An Endless.. the song at which the toilets and bar had the biggest queues no doubt!

Moz ran off stage to change shirt the first tme(having arrived in black jacket, black shirt and grey trousers), he did throw his second shirt (blue) into the crowd I think it was at the end of How Soon Is Now, which was excellent.

Let Me Kiss You sounded flatter than at The Point, but Mike Farrell showed what a great addition he is to the band, with cornet & trombone solos, aswell as playing guitar and keyboard.

The only criticism was the show seemed very short, I'm not sure as I can't quite remember the entire songlist, but it seemed a bit on the shortside.

Will post more as and when it starts filtering back into my overactive mind.

Julia wasn't mentioned at all...

I don't know what all you moaners are on about, that was a GREAT show- better than last night; Moz was in better form, the band was tighter and I had a better view! The only dampener on the whole night was not getting in to the pit despite queing for hours. I nearly had a baby during the HSIN, Life is A Pigsty, IBEH trilogy. Moz voice sounds fantastic and you know we all love Ringleaders of the Tomatoes (his words). I hope he finds the elixir of life and goes on forever...

The show was amazing, by far better than last night. Absolutly fantastic.

My buddy’s just commented that Morrissey was very cool tonight, without any over-exertion but massively sharp, impressive and ‘in the flow’. He seemed in very good humour. The sound was much better, the only momentary time glitch in the gorgeous Magazine cover straightened immediately though still Morrissey joked that he hoped we did realize this was the sound-check! A fair bit into the gig, Morrissey chants rose again to which he quizzically/amused said ‘what’ which earned some more laughs. The guitarists are coming out to the front for a few minutes more often, increasing the sense of interaction. Truly harmony is the order of the day.

Starting with FOTG, he added ‘stars reflect in the – Stoneybatter (area of Dublin) - reservoir’. He said he was glad many of us actually looked normal, and he later stroked us more by telling us all what an ideal audience we were. While singing ‘still on the flesh rampage, at your age!’, he pointed around the hall, during Trouble Loves Me, and introduced that with a few bars of the traditional rebel ballad ‘the dawning of the day’. He asked if we’d been marching today (to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Irish Easter Rising that led eventually to the birth of the Irish Republic) and hearing a varied response, he said he’d been marching too, to get the Dingles out of Emmerdale (English TV soap) ! He was unstoppable! He asked if Condaleeza Rice had visited, and not surprisingly, commented that she seemed like the face of deception, something like that. During HSIN, his expression of mock exasperation at ‘what exactly do you mean’ was priceless. There was 1 shirt-throw. One song – Last Night I dreamt was omitted and not replaced, while otherwise the play order was slightly different, and the encore was a feet-stomping version of Irish Blood English Heart. Let’s just say that something other than the bomb was bringing us together tonight. He left us with a Dave Allen farewell: may your God go with you!

He thanked Kristin Young again for opening. He shook hands with Julia at the front which I was apprised of by Paul, Sack’s manager, later in the Oak pub. Paul said that Sack will be doing a gig in July; their website www.sacktheband.net has information about an album in progress and is linked to myspace for downloads. Martin did disc-jockey there to a joyous packed room singing and dancing along with gusto, like a wedding party. Everyone we met was beyond satisfied, except I suppose that it passed like the blink of an eye. It’s been, ah, as Vinny Jones would say, emotional… The show must go on, Lowry next stop, but all going well, he’ll be ‘back in our lap’ late summer. : )

Great show pity it was so packed for some people.

A once monthly Morrissey/smiths night in Dublin would work ,possibly with guest dj1s like martin from sack.

Should be one the weekend before Marlay park for sure.

Been to both nights, whereas the second one was far better, not that the first one was bad at all. Soundwise the sunday show surely made up for saturday. Setlist was slightly changed on both dates, with "Last Night..." unfortunately being omitted from sunday's gig. "Irish Blood..." was a stunning encore nevertheless! When it came to the crowd's reception, the second one was surely more enthusiastic, despite the not-so-concerned-about-actual-hits setlist, which I was perfectly fine with anyway. "My Life..." sounded fabulous, as particularly did "Trouble Loves Me". What I didn't get, was people in the "Circle" having their fingers repeatedly pointing towards the air... Whazz that supposed to be? Please spare us those "gestures" until the next MOTLEY CRUE show, will ya...? Moz looked absolutely stunning on both nights, and after waiting at the stage door for a couple of moments, eventually getting a glimpse of the man entering his car, finally supplied me with my very own Michal-Jackson-Moment, he, he. 2 things still, Kristeen Young was an interesting and convincing support act, not your usual, typicially boring indie-nerd act. And to the curly Glen-Benton-loving scumbag:"Thou shalt be killed!"

Mozzer has still got it. Shame he didnt play more Smiths and better variety of his solo but still hoping for a bit of change in Liverpool on May 12th. Great crowd of hardcore fans. I love the older people with the quiffs. That was my 2nd Morrissey gig and there were many familiar faces.
Lots of craic. What about the two young lads shouting for 'Dagenham Dave' flat out. Madness! So Moz doesnt like the dingles. I wouldnt even watch Emmerdale. It's aweful. Fave song was Still Ill and I love the obvious lyric changes. Shame there was no Last Night I Dreamt...
Might go to Marlay Park, what do you think? Also enjoyed seeing him getting into the car after the soundcheck but felt quite invasive as I know by his reaction that he hates that sort of thing

The piano intro to "Trouble Loves Me" was a song called "The Rising of the Moon", which, being the weekend that was in it, was pretty appropriate, I suppose.

The balcony on the side closest to Boz had people who seemed to know Boz...they waved and smiled at him a lot and I could see that he stepped out to the front of the stage a few times and faced them...I thought perhaps they were close freinds/family?? Anyone else notice?

Christ - Morrissey knows that the same faces appear at the gigs yet it's the same songs every night, and for the most part not his better ones!So why is he not having a bit of variety in his shows?? Perhaps play more obscure songs, or those that he hasn't played live? Surely he's not getting safe in his old age?? Not impressed by this tour so far. Hope Marley park will be worth the money?

I attended all 3 gigs. I dont know what all the fuss is about. They were Brilliant. The best has to be Sunday night. If you are lucky enough to get near the pits The bass sound will be louder. On Sunday night the sound was spot on. I spoke to the sound Tec. on the Sat night and he had only tested without a crowd. He Was spot on on Sunday. I offered Moz my NHS Specks but he smiled and declined..I got some good photos. Thanks to MartinMcCann and Paul from Sack for a great Night at the Oak Bar. I met so many charming Moz fans, over the 3 nights and after the gigs. What more can one ask for.
