was really rough.

I live in Kings Lynn so this gig was amazing! The Corn Exchange is a bit on the small side, although it makes it very personal. The support band weren't bad, I think we gave them a warm reception. Although I think the avearage male in the house was transfixed by the lead singer.

The lads all wore red 'Playboy' shirts. The set list was mostly all the new album, except Irish Blood encore, First of the gang to die, Girlfriend in a Coma, Still Ill and a few others. Amazing gig, great fun.

There was a huge fight over a shirt Morrissey threw into the crowd (of which I was guilty) that must have lasted at least three songs!

He made some funny comments. When he sang Girlfriend in a Coma, a long haired blonde (possibly a girl,I don't know) must have fainted and got passed over the top to the front. To which Morrissey said 'and thats her!'

He said 'after this shall we go to a club? Are there any good clubs here? or is that a silly question? (He is right there are no good clubs in Lynn!).

Kings Lynn is also in Norfolk and therefore holds its allegiance to Norwich City Football Club (I support Man City though). So Morrissey joked that he was a bit of a Ipswich fan (Norwich's rivals) but only slightly!

I really great night.

Just got back from Corn Exchange. Really great venue - small and roomy. Could do with aircon through - Moz was soaked - four shirt changes.

Same set as normal, slightly different order (HSIN pre-encore). Didn't think crowd was too rough - we were 1/3 of the way back and had loads of space to move. Some tools in front got shirty if anyone tried to move forward, resulting in a few almost fights.

Highlights - Pigsty, HSIN and the opening FOTGTD.

Ten times better than Ally Pally.

I think this was a good gig. The 'think' should be emphasised though, because to be honest I can hardly remember a bloody thing. Why? Because I spent most of the gig in a semi-conscious state.

My fault, though...when we got in I spotted a good view in the centre about four rows back from the stage. I realised at the time that I would most likely be moshed to death...but little Wildey (rather foolishly, perhaps?) decided that it is worth risking life (and limb) for a good view of Morrissey. I fucking regretted that. The view was worth nothing, because I spent most of the concert preparing myself mentally for death.

I was so crushed that I had tears in my eyes and was on the verge of a panic attack. At one point my nose and mouth were pushed into a guys shoulder and I nearly suffocated, and someone's arse pushed into my stomach making me almost vomit over everyone (serve the fuckers right, I thought, for pushing me like this). I was also straddling some bloke's leg and had my head in someone else's armpit (ew) for most of the gig.

Stage divers: I understand and appreciate your enthusiasm, but I resent having my head kicked in and being almost fully pushed to the floor- repeatedly.

Still, what else should I expect from a Morrissey gig? I do realise that this is probably normal, but this being only my second Morrissey gig, I wasn't fully prepared for it and it made me really angry that I didn't have the chance to fully appreciate it or take in what was happening.

Still, I emerged alive: drenched, stinking and shaking.

Love you Morrissey!

What I can remember is that GIAC, Ganglord and Pigsty were played amazingly, and Morrissey's comment (mentioned above):

'Is there anywhere we could go clubbing afterwards?'
(Cheers and shouts of 'No!')
'Was that a silly question? I think so'
Someone shouted 'We'll go wherever you do, Morrissey!'
Morrissey replies: 'I'm going to Hell!'

Don't remember anything else. Shame.

Met some nice Norfolk people, one mentioned solo- I couldn't help but smile. (Although I was a little bemused when one asked me if Morrissey had a son!)

Anyway, I'll stop my whinging now...thankful to have seen Morrissey twice.

There were some pricks in the audience laughing at Kristeen Young. I think she's better second time round.

Although...I think they made a comment about her outfit looking like it was made or those plastic rings you get on tin multipacks, and that was kinda true. :)

Starting off with FOTGTD meant things could only go downhill; this rendition was fantastic, but as Mozzer, understandably, performed mostly tracks from ROTT I didn't enjoy most of the set as live performance failed to inject any great dynamism into songs that sound ordinary on record (though maybe I Will See You In Far Off Places and In The Future When All's Well were a shade better than on the CD)

Wasn't impressed with the guitar playing on Still Ill - how can anyone match Johnny Marr on that one! - and Girlfriend In A Coma needed a lighter touch from the band...How Soon Is Now however was stupendous, as good as if it had been the Smiths themselves!

All in all twas an OK gig, probably as good as I'd expected, but generally left me wishing I'd seen Moz on the YATQ tour.

The order may be a bit wrong in the middle so anyone else, please feel free to correct me. These were the songs played anyway- no covers, no Trouble Loves Me. Another good show, I get the impression Moz is going through the motions a little bit at the moment, he's certainly not been so chatty for a while. But either way the band still sound excellent and Moz on fair-to-middling form is still pretty special. No more shows for me until the summer festivals so looking forward to hearing a few different songs then.

I think it was a great gig!
The venue is quite small, but the sound was great and the atmosphere was fantastic! I was about ten rows form the stage and it was not violent at all, there was plenty of space (though the air conditioner would be helpful, I was as soaked as Morrissey).
He started by saying something like "Good evening gentlemen and rough women!"
The audience was really into it with chanting and crowd-surfing. After the first song he said: "So far, so good!" And when people were chanting "Morrissey" in between the songs, his remark was: "You have a lovely singing voice!"
It was nice to be in a standing venue again and you can really tell the difference in the atmosphere!

Excellent gig, can't wait for tonight! However the thought that it's gonna be the last show makes me sad, I really got used to seeing him on a regular basis, can't believe it's over!

Was at the King's Lynn gig last night. Thought it was amazing. Brilliant small venue and really friendly crowd. Moz did us proud again. Would really like a photo of Morrissey in the brown shirt, which was his second one I think. Can anyone help?

Our locomotive coasted into Ely after an interminable trek from the West Midlands, and a beer seemed a wise option – a very long and wet journey past millions of estate agents to the Royal Standard. One lager later on the walk back to the station, I happened upon Ely Cathedral – an absolutely magnificent building from Norman times, I don’t think my 5-minute tour did it justice but the train horn beckoned.
Another thing I noticed was how many unusual birds were hovering and flitting around – I think it’s because of the Fens but I am clueless on ornithology. A nice place. And then on to Kings Lynn, a very attractive market town with some excellent Tudor and Georgian buildings. Tonight’s venue, the Corn Exchange, lies on one side of the Tuesday Market, a large square that featured some pretty good bars and restaurants.

By absolute chance I was able to see Morrissey entering the stage door, as well as Garry Day wandering around the square largely unrecognised.
I also briefly glanced at Jesse Tobias and Michael Farrell having their dinner al fresco on a table near the stage entrance, but there is such a thing as privacy so I quickly curtailed my slack-jawed gawping.

Lacking a ‘queue number’, I had a nice wander round King’s Lynn, and then adjourned to Lloyds Bar, which was equally populated by Moz fans and local folks out for a tot.

I was struck by the thought at how much I have enjoyed visiting the various towns on this tour, and how those, err, ‘self-assured’ Americans who just start queuing the minute they arrive are being rather discourteous (some might even call it arrogant) to the individual towns in which we are guests. Still, ‘No Harm’, eh? Safe trip back to El-Lay.

The venue was a traditional rectangular room with about 800 people in attendance. It was nice to see the folks in the crowd appreciating the Tormentors material as much as the older songs, which has not always been the case on the tour.
Kristeen Young played another good set, she was wearing some different clothes at last and unfortunately got caught up on the mike stand for one number.

Morrissey began at nine, the sound was as good as it has been all tour, and he seemed to be in a great mood – he threw three shirts and a yellow carnation during the course of the show if I remember correctly (including one backhand).

The set was the same as the last couple of shows, but in another different order – I think that Pigsty and HSIN benefit from a song or two in between, as having one follow the other there is no time to recover from the tension created by the first song.
The versions of ‘..Work Of Art’ and ‘At Last I Am Born’ were the best I have heard.

A cool way to end the tour for me – I am sure that the Palladium show will be very special.

I was pleased to hear that Conservative Leader David Cameron picked ‘This Charming Man’ on Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs – I wonder if he has read the lyrics?

Fanstastic gig last. Spent most it jumping up and down whilst being crushed and helping very heavy people up to crowd surf!
Managed to get the coller of the pink shirt he wore (the first one). Has anyone got any pics of it?

did anyone actually hear him sing this? I know it's on the setlists given out at the end but I don't recall him doing it.

Wow what a great night, just one person in front of me and the barrier, and although it was a bit squashed it was quite tame.

Thought He was in great form and deliverd a blinding performane.

I was on my todd so thx to all the people I met, esp the girl who I shared a shared a tiny spot with (yes you with the cool Moz tattoo on your back) - you did not stop smiling once and it was a pleasure to stand next to you.

SO great was the concert that it seemed perfectly natural for me and Tatt girl to share a hug after the gig - both aware we had just witnessed something v special

That Geoff sure can play drums, and she had an incredible bod, sorry voice - kind of PJ Harvey meets Goldfreapp with a touch of Tori AMos thrown in for good measure.
