Great show, good crowd. Lot's of energy. During All You Need Is Me, some girl made it on stage and attacked Moz, she jumped on his back and kissed him, open mouthed, while his tongue was out! He pulled away in horror and proclaimed it "Disgusting!" Later during the show, he alluded to it and said something to the effect of "Earlier, I was kissed by some one who was siphoning gas from a 747....or it was the Stella." Classic, I loved it! He helped a few would be stage invaders on stage. He was chatty and seemed like he was in a great mood and having a really good time. During I Like You, he was shading his eyes from the lights and just looking in to the crowd. It seemed he was really trying to look at all of our faces. I certainly appreciated it, don't know if some of the drunks idiots around us did. Though I shouldn't complain, last show I went to in Vegas, I was pretty drunk too. During the encore, Moz and the boys came out in full Chivas uniforms, socks and shorts! Too funny. Moz said they would do anything to be popular. Night ended with me catching a guitar pick off the chest. Looking forward to tomorrow, maybe I can get closer next time.

Morrissey's first words were, "Welcome to my living room".
During All you need is me Morrissey faced the crowd closing his eyes and opened his mouth not expecting the female fan going up on stage to kiss him full on the lips. She was carried away as Moz wiped his mouth with his sleeve and saying: "Disgusting!". LOL. Morrissey tries to keep serious during Dear God Please Help Me because of the crowd's reaction to the lyrics I have explosive kegs between my legs and I am spreading your legs with mine in between to which he signs with a smirk, "this is a very serious song." Sorry for the grammar, i just got back and im so very tired...and thats the funniest stuff i remember.

Thanks to all the wonderful people on the house right side of the stage (Mikey Farrell side), it was fun and energetic, not brutal or rude.
Crowd was very appreciative and more excitable, but nowhere near as violent as in the 90s. Certainly more civilised than the last time Moz played the Palladium. I was allowed into the venue early in '99, but I decided not to take a place front and center at the barricade because I enjoy having my cranium intact. I went up to the balcony and made a homemade banner declaring we could have both. Moz had a very funny response to it...and played it on the next leg of the tour. Even though I was in the balcony, I still was not able to escape harm in '99. A thug got into a fight, knocked into me and caused me to fall down the stairs, twisting my ankle. Also, a boy was stabbed...dunno if his money was grabbed, but well, you know the rest.
I forgot to mention that ever since the last SF show, Moz has not been using entrance music. At the Palldium, there was no backdrop, just the house red curtains. I forgot to note that in SF (last night), Mikey played "Clang Clang Went the Trolley" which I believe is actually from the musical Meet Me in St. Louis, but the whole trolley reference is very San Franciscan if cliche'd because only tourists ride the trolleys there. I laughed my ass off when I heard this song because it's so silly. Musicals are really gay, huh? ; )
In Moz Angeles, Mikey played a little bit from "Hooray for Hollywood". Very fitting. Then Moz welcomed us to his living room and his "lifelong residency". Viva Moz!
For the first time, I noticed fuggin' TOM JONES singing "What's New Pussycat?" in the pre-show music. Incredible. But it wasn't even as funny as all the things Moz said onstage. I chuckled myself to sleep thinking about it. It's been reported already, so I won't rehash it. Oh so many things, I can't remember them all, but it was certainly the most fun night on this leg of the tour so far. Except for the hoochie running up onstage to force her tongue into his mouth. I actually said, "THat's disgusting!" before Morrissey said it was disgusting. Later on in the show he remarked that he thinks that that girl was probably siphoning jet fuel from a 747 with her mouth. Hah hah!
I just want to add that when he spoke instead of sang the words "Dear God, please help me" in response to the hilarity of the crowd's response to explosive kegs between his legs, he actually turned around, pretended to collapse helplessly against the drum riser and then did a couple of impressive push-ups on the drum riser. When he was stifling laughter and singing "This is a serious song" in place of the normal lyrics, I thought of the LOL Mozzer thread on the discussion board -- This R sirius song. Pls B mor sirius, k? Thx, bye.
Eduardo asked Moz why Moz plays L.A. so much and despite it being obvious, he said he wanted to hear it from Moz himself. Moz sang a song and addressed Eduardo directly and said that was his answer.
When I got the mic, I asked Moz to please accept a manga fanzine created by my friend who had come all the way from Japan to see him (we were separated and on opposite sides of the stage). Moz asked, "What does that have to do with me?" I told him it was a book all of him. I should've added that the artwork is totally brilliant and enjoyable even if you don't read Japanese. It's manga, which is mostly visual anyway. He lied and said the only Japanese he knows is "kabuki". Then he asked if it (what he said) was cruel. No, but he really ought to take Shiho's specially created manga. People were asking to buy it, but it's not for sale.
I wonder if Moz has been reading my comments on this board because I remember writing that I thought his mocking of the Mexican guy from Puebla was somewhat "

The Line:
People started lining up for the show the day before. My friend was the first one to be in line around 4 in the afternoon. Then more started showing up around 10 and 11 in the p.m. Robert got there at 4:30 a.m. Chrissie at 6 a.m... and me and Doug showed up at about 11am. It was pretty fun and exciting waiting in line. I wasn't bored or anything; rather nervous and anxious. The 8 hrs in line were well worth it. Plus we met new people, and our friends' friends. Around 3ish o'clock, me and Doug went for a walk around the venue, along to the other side of the building where the back door was. The entrance where all the instruments and musicians go in through. There were no fans there or anyone... just Arturo (Morrissey's bodyguard) and the security guy from the venue. We were talking to the security guard for a while. He confirmed the "press conference" was going to happen. So it did. He also told us Morrissey was NOT yet in the building, so of course we knew he would arrive any minute then. We saw Salomon and Jesse standing there, just chatting. Our of nowhere Kristeen Young appeares with Baby driving a van. She told the security guard "We're the opening act"... then something like 'where do we go' or something like that. She didn't know where to go in from. The guard told her to go and park through the front of the venue where the line was at. We also told her where to go.. Doug gave her directions. As they drove to the red light, Kristeen just gets out of the van and starts walking towards us, to get in through the back Instead.. kinda funny, she didnt want to be seen by the fans.. Doug, I need help, what did she say? Something about " i dont want the people to cheer" or "booo me" haha I dont know, but it was kind of nice seeing and talking to her. Anyway, we then saw Arturo make a signal to the security guard meaning someone was arriving.. tun tun tun!! Could it be Morrissey? hahaha... I turned to the right side of the street to see if any car came... and as I turned right, he was coming in really fast in his BMW Z4. Eddie was driving, and him being in the passenger seat. He had a funny look kinda smily/ tapping his knees with his hands .. he def saw us. Doug waved hello and I just stood there shocked. I couldn't believe it. I didn't even have time to take him a pic. Everything happened so quickly. But yes!!!! We got lucky to be the only one's to see Morrissey arrive.
We came back to the line and kept waiting. Since it was the first show, we didn't really know how the special ticket line was going to work out. At first the security guards said there was only going to be one line, but that had to be bullshit. I had the special ticket, and there was no way I wasn't going to be able to get in before everyone else. 15 till 7 I guess we knew they would honor us going in first. They lined us up, checked us, and scanned out ticket. I thought it was funny when the guy came out telling us... "anyone drinking, I need to see your id." Haha.. no one pulled out shit. It was less than one hundred of us in that special line, and no one wanted a wrist band to drink"... haha he looked surprised. All we wanted is to run and get our spot by the stage haha.. forget drinks its Morrissey. Anyway, they warned us before they opened the doors about running. As soon as they gave us the go, I RAN, i mean RAN to the stage. Straight in, to the left down a walkway, another left straight to the stage. I was running so fast I could make it in the olympics hahahha. I could of made a hugggge leap. It was funny. I thought it was really funny. I lost everyone.. all my friends, though I ended up right by Doug because I saw him, and ran where he was. I was sooooo happy that I ended up right on the rail. Front row. The fast running paid off well. hahahha.
So music played... then Kristeen Young took the stage. The waiting
