Wide, wild, lost, uncrossed

I was going through a stack of photos from some of our early family camping. We have gone to so many places over the years it's hard to keep track really. These times are emblazoned on our minds. The kids were so young when we started them on this type of exploration.

But in the pics, wow, I was so young with wild adventure hair (I still feel young though).

We have a upcoming week off together and when I put it to the family, the first thing that came from their mouths was, where are we going camping. It's weird really, I can take them anywhere in the world, but their heart longs for the exploration of silence and beauty together while being in a less human environment. A demeanor that was kindled so long ago and not yet distinguished with ages constrictions.

Love the hair!

Although there is a little grey showing up now, I still have a full head of hair, so at least it is still there to grow if I I go long again.
