Fuck off Morrissey!

I said that I would boycott Morrissey's music and this site for a year if he planned to play in Iran. Fuck Iran! Fuck you Morrissey! I have lost all respect for you as a human being. Are you a human being? My cat has more morals than you. You boycott Canada because of the seal cull. Have you seen this dipshit???

ISLAMOFASCIST KNOBSICLES!

I won't be listening to his music.
He is dead to me.

If he is your hero, you are not too bright!

the male speaker is translated by the female narrator to say that Iran is an exception to the rule. He was saying that in Iran women are respected.

Have to start somewhere. (Score:1)
I simply googled 'women's rights iran' and the first article to show was this one if it's true, then Iran has been strongest in Islamic countries, to question its practices and be open to learning to be fairer.

Does your cat have more morals than US Government? (Score:1)
Just wondering, what is the difference between Morrissey touring Iran and the US doing billions of dollars of trade with Saudi Arabia (which is much worse than Iran for its abuse of women's rights)? Are you gonna boycott all those US companies too? For example, Just last week General Electric (US company) signed a 1.4 billion dollar contract with Saudi Arabia. Are you gonna boycott General Electric? Why single Morrissey out. Your own government (mine too) is much worse.

This video is sickening, and it makes me furious, but any propagandist stance of US moral outrage doesn't ring true. The US actively supports the Saudi regime, the most fundamentalist and barbaric, undemocratic and abusive of human (as well as women's) rights of all islamic regimes. Simply cos it's most expedient for them. And cos they make shit loads of dosh. Morals don't come into it, they only tout that perspective when they want public opinion on their side for projects that have a more self-interested motive. If they really believed in the moral crusade against these backward Islamic values, they wouldn't trade with the Saudis, they wouldn't support their regime, they wouldn't support the regime in Afghanistan now which is becoming just as bad as the Taliban were. Funny how, when they wanted to a world coalition to get rid of the Taliban, it was all about how immoral and backwards their values were, yet when the new government they support imposes similar values, they do nothing and just turn a blind eye. Bottom line is, they just wanted to destroy terrorist training camps there for the sake of US security and the moral argument was a smokescreen.
