Sorry to hear of your loss. It's one thing to lose a pet but to actually have to put them to sleep is one hell of a thing to go through. I had to do it myself a couple of times and the guilt was overwhelming to me.
Give yourself time to mourn then do another animal a favor and take them home from a shelter. Imagine how happy they'd be in a loving home.
I've always said I'd love to come back as one of my pets as they are spoiled and maddly loved.

Poor Minnie, poor Tibby. Doggie Heaven is probably an excellent place, though.

Aww Tibby, I am so sad about your dog..I feel for you..
Be strong and well think of it this way, you were able to be in your doggies life for 12 years..that is a lot of time.

Oh, Tibby. I'm so very sorry to hear that about Minnie. It's a difficult thing to have to go through. I had Oliver for 15 years and I had to put him to sleep in 2003 because he just kept getting sicker and sicker. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. I have his ashes and I think of him daily. He meant the world to me, so I know what you're going through. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to you.
