  • Just got home from the Amsterdam gig.

My God, someone should put Kristeen Young out of my misery. My ears were bleeding! Truly horrible.

The sound at the Heineken Music Hall was really poor, although it improved slightly during the show.

Morrissey did his same old setlist. No surprises. William sounded nice though. Disappointed sounded, well, as a disappointment actually.

The atmosphere during the gig can only be described as tame & lame.

I rate this gig: 5,5 out of 10.

It is a very mixed blessing to be brought back from the dead.
  • Morrissey needs to alter his setlist from time to time. The story is old, but it goes on.

  • Just came home from Amsterdam, and I am still enjoying the great show. Moz caught a little bit of a cold in Germany, but he sounded great. So was the band!!! He was joking with the crowd and Moz seemed happy... He took off his shirt twice, and both shirts ended in the crowd. The setlist was more or less the same as the last ones. He gave us two encores! Thanks Moz for the great show. Hope to see you again in 8 months in the HMH..... This one was better than the one in April (Well, that's my personal opinion....)

  • Just back from the gig and after party.
Brilliant gig. Moz in a good mood. His voice sounded great.

    Some comments he made:

What a great way to spend a wet wednesday night

He tried to hand the microphone to Winnie, then asked the band why she wouldn't speak. Who is Winnie (?)

    Threw out 2 blue shirts.

Encore was 'Please, Please, Please let me get what I want' and 'Don't make fun of Daddy's voice'

  • Crowd started lame...also in the front.. but luckily thanks to some Belgium friends.. ;) it got better and better...

A lot of dancing, hand-waving, singing, and screaming at the front rows. Some people tried to jump the fence ...but got dragged away ( i think they managed to reach his hand though)....

At one point a guy came running from the right side of the stage...(Mozzer was at teh leftside)..and he hugged our beloved men...

( i heard all stage invader got kicked out of the venue... arseholes!!!)

I got his hand an a very big piece (front) of the second blue shirt... whoehoe!!!!!

Sound was good, Morrissey very talkative... setlist okay..... Well... all in all a very good (but not fantastic) Morrissey night i think...

And yes.. allthough i like Kristeen for 5 songs...after that someone should drag her away....

I JUST WANT MORE SHOWS!!!! *sigh*

  • Yes, they certainly have the most unfriendly bouncers anywhere.
Here's hoping that when Moz returns to our country he will choose a different venue.
    What's wrong with Vredenburg, Utrecht?

  • Gig was great in my opinion, as always the atmosphere was super in the front. A lot of dancing, jumping, shouting, but never agressive (as is sometimes the case in UK). At one point Moz asked if we recognized some people in the intro-movie (which was incredibly cool) and I shouted 'Brigitte (Bardot), but you're more beautiful' to which he replied with a grin. Dunno why I shouted that beacuse objectively I don't quite agree :) ... stream of conciousness I'm afraid. All in all a very great time.

  • I flew all the way from Estonia to see Morrissey live. And I have no regrets.. It was better than everyone said it would be. Seeing him from the first row, hearing his music live, seeing the emotions when he sings.. It all made me understand his music soooo much more. It was perfect. Can't wait for the next time. People from Estonia love you, Moz..:)
